Groundskeeper
In the current meta, people are often threatening to or actually slinging spells at your face, weapons to the face or hero powers, end of turn effects, etc. The 4/5 body will help you through some midgame to control some of the opponent’s minions or to push some small damage vs control decks. The 5 heatlth comes in handy in both cases as it’s often awkward to remove.
Groundskeeper
Definitely never the worst play. Will it find a master deck? I’m not sure, I think this was designed with newer players in mind. 4/5 for those players with a smaller collection.
Turalyon, the Tenured
I assume this will be best in a mildly dragon-themed deck to keep your big boys alive and where you want to reach the higher mana levels anyway. 4/5, tentatively.
Runic Carvings
I honestly can’t tell if this card is good or not, and at this point I am getting tired of both treat and basic totem tokens. 2/5 from me due to tired flavour.
Jandice Barov
This card seems very powerful if you want any 5-drop whatsoever (bar combo’s) in your deck. What are y’all smoking?? Probably the BEST standalone 5-drop minion in the game available to these classes! You get a 2-1 to compensate for potential sub-par rolls, and two 5 drops which you pick the brittle one and the opponent needs to spend resource on killing this stupid illusion which, if it goes unchecked, can deal decent damage next turn. Pair this with a synergy card and you have insane tempo. I’m only sad for Evolve Shaman players.
Tasty Flyfish
Favourite art!
Other than that, it is a delayed tempo play, which on turn 2 isn’t horrible. Not ideal, but… it’s all uphill if you can stabilize.
It is most efficient in a midrange deck. Tribal/Battlecry Shaman, Galakrond Warrior (not really a nice fit here), Token/Dragon Druid, Midrange Priest(?), a few potential Paladins…
I love that this card was printed!
Gyrocopter
Do not underestimate windfury on a Mech. This can get discounted, along with a buffed magnetic card. Slow setup, sure, but Rush makes this card a considerably more flexible.
Evasive Feywing
YES PLEASE! Amazing, lots of spell evasion this time around, these cards might start being numerous enough.
Disciple of Galakrond
Beautiful. I love these new Pharaoh Cat-like cards. Make it a habbit Blizzard!
Nozdormu the Timeless
Wild is a fine game mode which I will be mixing in with standard play come the expansion.
Galakrond, the Unspeakable
I am imagining a monstrosity of a deck with a few invoke cards, maybe 10 dragons (dragerns for you, Jed), a bunch of hyper-aggro neutrals, Transmogriphier to transition to lategame and value from this Hero Power and class dragerns/tempo+wombocombo cards. Sounds sick, if not broken.
Wyrmrest Purifier
Strong card for zoo. I can see it work, it has a few good upsides: build a deck with aggressive neutrals and combos in your own class cards and make half of your deck better in the mid/lategame, also transform bombs, hakkar blood and other shenanigans.
No taunt makes it worse on a lethal turn
