Oh this explains a lot and all the time I was blaming the coronavirus… since now lots of people are at home I thought wayyy more people are playing. I already had given up ranking for the remainder of this month when I gained 7 ranks (1550 to 1543) after winning from someone at 726.

Playing 24/7 against druids, it seems all other classes gave up.

4 mana for a 2/3 is just meh. So at turn 4 it’s useless. And after that you need a lackey to activate. I don’t understand the 4 star rating so far. 2/5

Shaman Galakrond went from top to bottom tier. That’s no small balance change! And now hunter and/or rogue sits on top of the meta by a margin. The outcome is that class x got replaced by y, so what’s the point? Is it really about balance or is it a money making strategy by Blizzard?

Wine post. With the nerf to Innovation of Frost (was that really necessary?) both shaman invoke cards were nerfed. And shaman now sits at the bottom of all classes. My dust is gone creating a shaman deck. I can’t afford to create any of the new top decks like highlander hunter/rogue or hand warlock, each deck requires 3 or 4 legendaries. So face hunter it is. If Blizzard keeps intervening, why not compensate players…

Just to make sure… if I buy this adventure, the cards will be playable in standard for 2 years?

Wow predicted 5 out of 7. Quest priest candidate for tier 0? Was already afraid for this, in for a boring meta meh! Return of otk decks like Holy wrath paladin (or malygos decks – still not moved to the hall of fame) to counter priest? Highlander hunter will surely benefit. This all means that I need dust lots of it 🙁 Will Blizzard compensate?

At the moment in my exp it’s about who gets Galakrond first wins (or DR/Ancharr/Dragonqueen). That’s not fun so another nerf patch is welcome.
Potential nerf candidates I see: Galakrand Legendaries, Necrium Apothecary, Scion of Ruin, Ancharrr and pref Dragonqueen Alexstrasza too and I still would like to see Malygos move to the Hall of Fame.
I do fear Quest Resurrect Priest will come out on top which is a boring deck to play against.
Also Blizzard should compensate all players for these patches by giving 5 free card packs or better just give a free legendary (1600 dust).

I think the majority finishing in ranks 15-25 probably says they only played a few games that month. Even my oldest kid (11yr) can easily get to 14 with one of my decks. My exp from rank 5 to legend is that everyone plays one of the top 5 decks and it’s just the amount of time you’re willing to invest eventually you will reach legend. Seriously Hearthstone ain’t hard it’s about money (cards) and time. Top streamers do play 8-10 hours a day. Congrats to all legend players 😉

Krag’wa? I rather have a second Earth shock or Hex. Also Archmage Vargoth is a cheaper win-more card.

This card must be the most underrated card of the set. 2 stars lol. Turned out to be one of the most played cards.

I know the latest expansion (within a year) is supposed to be the stongest, but Galakrond is totally dominating the meta. Galakrond decks are more midrange/value which explains why control is absent. I tried a few games playing the traditional control warrior and got wrecked by priest, shaman and even Galakrond warrior, bevause of the Galakrond hero attack power that kept hitting me.

Btw I Just faced quest resurrect priest and dragon control (so people do notice your lists), I wrecked them both with Galakrond shaman 😛 At low ranks (3-1) I’m facing Galakrond warrior, shaman and (highlander) rogue mainly. Face hunter was popular for a while, but I noticed a decline (personal exp) probably because of the bad matchup against Galakrond warrior.

With Galakrond being so OP there’s little room for other deck types. Most games tend to end whoever draws an upgraded Galakrond first (or the dragonqueen) which is sometimes frustrating.

Played some games with galakrond quest… rank 3-0 to 2-3 loosing only once to face hunter.
Shamanstone is still real.

Faceless will still be OP. Missing nerfs to Dragon’s Pack and Galakrond. I don’t see how this would affect the meta that much.

Rank 5 to rank 2 atm with a list similar to this one, using 2x Wolfrider and 2 secrets (instead of 4), 1 tracking and 2x Questing Explorer.
