Patch 17.6 is Now Live - Previously Announced Constructed Changes, Lots of Battlegrounds Stuff!
As per the article:
Craftable cards listed below will be eligible for a full dust refund for two weeks after the 17.6 patch goes live.
17.2.1 Balance Update Coming May 18 - 8 Card Nerfs (Priestess of Fury, Hanar, Bloodboil Brute) + 4 Buffs (Shaman & Paladin)
I have a full set of rares. I disenchant the nerfed rares for full cost. Next pack gives same rares, because of duplicate protection. I disenchant again, get pack, get them again. Would it work like that or is protection gone once full set is assembled at some point?
Best Hearthstone Decks - Standard Meta Tier List - The Great Dark Beyond (November 2024)
As a f2p player, I love the posted dragon hunter list. Only two epics plus adventure, but it was only losing to warlock and now that warlock is much less popular, it beats both slow builds and demon hunter.
Ashes of Outland Card Reveal Season Starts Very Soon! (March 18 - 25)
Wow, every time I check the site, something new is posted. Thank you for working the crazy hours to bring us the updates as they happen. (please fix the first date in the graphic as it should be 18th)
2020 Announcements Live Recap - Standard Year, Hall of Fame, New Cards, Ashes of Outland, Demon Hunter and More!
Did the patch go through for you? It took a while for me on mobile, but it’s there now
Whizbang the Wonderful Deck Recipes List - Descent of Dragons Decks, Hero Power, Golden Decks, & More!
For what it’s worth, I probably played about 100 games of whizbang since the expansion and I haven’t encountered anything but the decks described in the article, but I wouldn’t put it past them to mess this up in some specific case.
23 Wild Cards Coming Back to Standard Temporarily, New Portraits For 1000 Wins, More Events, Search & Quest Improvements
I think my version of the question(and maybe the intent of the original question) is, if i don’t own the actual card, do you think i would be able to play the event version of the card in wild or is it limited to standard?
Tavern Brawl - Rise of the Zombeasts
Nice that they listened to the complaints from last time and reduced the starting health to keep game length reasonable hehe
Tombs of Terror Strategy Guide - Chapter 1: The Lost City - Vesh, Plague Lord of Murlocs
I think the guide should also mention that the boss’s deck refreshes with each hero power. Even if you deck him out in the second round, in the third round he has full 30 cards. I took too long to beat him and ended up dying to my own lack of cards.
Sorry, if i missed it at some point in the guide already.
Best Saviors of Uldum Class Cards for Free-To-Play Budget Players
You hit it in your initial statement. It’s a versatile card. You can break through taunts with rush, you can shelter your murlocs, you can drop it on curve as a big threat. It’s really just about experience and learning how to respond in each spot, but no need to hold on to it for some future use that will never come.
If you really do want to play a versatile answer, I had a nice climb with hagatha (the hero card) in that slot. She basically doubles your draws, because your deck is basically all minions, so you always get a murloc and a spell. Yes, the battlecry usually clears your board, but you play her in those games where you are already pretty much screwed, and it gives you a fighting chance.
Tavern Brawl - Three Wishes
At least the decks make an attempt to synergize now. It’s not just 30 random cards as it was in every “Encounter at the Crossroads” brawl in the past, but a relatively cohesive murloc or dragon or elemental or whatever deck. It seems they are using either the dungeon run buckets or some other synergy mechanic to build the decks.
Tavern Brawl - League of Explorers: Revived
I’ve only played one run, so I might be wrong, but it seemed like the buckets intentionally went out of their way to not duplicate any cards, so you don’t have to actually worry about accidentally disabling all the highlander cards. I also had everyone’s favorite genie offered to me multiple times until it was in a good enough bucket to take and I realized highlander is enforced.
Hearthstone Legendary Crafting Guide (Standard) - United in Stormwind
I’ve always read this guide as a list of legendaries I should craft if I finally scrounged up enough dust for one or two legendaries. In that case, I can’t pick from a list much larger than a hearthstone hand size, or else I will definitely end up painted into a corner with no dust and a useless tier 3 deck that I can never reasonably climb with.
So in a sense, you’re right, the list is “safe”, but to me, it’s the exact intent of this list.
Quest Thief Rogue Theorycraft - Saviors of Uldum - August 2019
Pilfer does “from another class” not “from opponents class” going forward. Guide and the card image itself should be updated
Quest Control Shaman Theorycraft - Saviors of Uldum - August 2019
The deck has potential, but I wanted to fact check the writeup.
Siamat becomes 6/6 with all the goodies for 9 mana, not 7, because the hero power is not a passive. Also Shudderwock will probably rarely get the effects of the hero power unless you reduce total cost under 11 mana with Far Sight or something.
Finally, I’m curious how the Hagatha interaction with quest is expected to work. Both the quest and Hagatha are hero power based, but the interaction is not addressed anywhere in the writeup.
Is there any info or educated guess on when this could be actually implemented?
