Did the Boomsday Balance Patch Change the Hearthstone Meta?
Many of the top decks are still here, so I can understand the sentiment that nothing changed. Some things did change though, such as Tempo Mage falling off completely.
The full details, of course, are in the article.

First day ranks don’t really count, because they’re more about who gets there first.
He hit #19 with the featured list this week with more people in Legend.
I know that he currently runs a Sunfury Protector instead of Spiritsinger Umbra, that was a change made after the article was written. He’s been tweaking the list almost daily.

Thanks! Did you notice that we’ve already done similar pieces on Paladin, Priest, Mage, Warrior, and Shaman? Links to those are at the beginning of this article.

I like Mossy Horror a lot in the current meta, but Miracle has felt fine without as well. Spiders and Fan can clear Spreading Plague and you don’t really go wide with low-attack minions.

I did not consider Pogo Rogue to be an actual deck even in the sense that someone would think it could be. I get asked about how Malygos Rogue is nowadays, probably because it used to be a deck, but no one ever asks about Pogo.
I can’t find a single non-meme Pogo list from HSReplay either.
The Many Faces of Shudderwock: Decks for Laddering with Shaman in the Boomsday Meta
I miss Everyfin and Call in the Finishers. Good times! I’m afraid the power level of Wild is too high to roll with them anymore though.

Saronite Chain Gang is always an attractive card, and sometimes I have missed having Taunt minions in the deck. I have just found it hard to cut any Murlocs in order to ensure timely quest completion. Zap and Mossy are tech cards, they can easily be replaced if something better is available, so maybe there is a spot for those taunts.

I have not been able to find any really good use for Runespear, sorry.
That said, it can sometimes get things done with good rolls, so you can put it in a Shaman deck as a support card even if not a key card. HSReplay recognizes one deck with it, an Even Shaman build that uses Runespear instead of The Lich King, but the are no statistics for it for ranks better than 10. Even Shaman core is strong enough to carry one random weapon, so you can put it in that archetype, if you really want to.
At least it’s better than the Priest weapon, which is utterly useless.

While it is true that the Wild Pyromancer variant has seen occasional play, its heyday coincided with the peak of Odd Paladin. Right now, Wild Pyromancer is a niche inclusion at best, and all the Shudderwock decks brought to Fall Championship are Keleseth lists.
Spells to Face or No Spells at All: Decks for Laddering with Mage in the Boomsday Meta
True, that was a poor choice of words, I amended the article.
Odds and Quests: Decks for Laddering with Warrior in the Boomsday Meta
I breath a sigh of relief every time a Hunter turns out to be Secret or Spell or something like that. Oh, whew, not quite as tough for a Warrior after all.
Odds and Quests: Decks for Laddering with Warrior in the Boomsday Meta
I do find it difficult to relate to that experience. Same applies to statistics sites. For example, on HSReplay, there is not a single Warrior archetype that would be favored against Deathrattle Hunter in the Legend-5 bracket right now. Odd Warrior is the best one with a 34.65% win rate and that is quite abysmal.
There are the games where Boom carries you or you manage to get a wide board for whatever reason, both those do not seem to be the majority of games.

Molossus obviously played the build in this article to Legend, so it can be done. Personally, I still don’t understand how, but hitting some good matchups and being skilled with the deck are probably two main factors. He wrote that Token Druid and Zoo were the best matchups and Tempo Mage was an auto-loss. Perhaps that helps you compare to what you are facing now.

I play with Arcane Keysmith myself and I love the card. As you said, it seems to have vanished from the popular builds, so I just sneaked in a mention of it as a tech card, because there is no good data of its recent performance with a large sample size.
Beyond Odd Paladin: Decks for Laddering with Paladin in Boomsday Meta
It is unlikely for either of those cards to get a lasting spot in Paladin lists.
Blackguard has been explored quite thoroughly and it simply is not strong enough. One of its major weaknesses is that after your hero is healed to full, it stops dealing any damage.
Glowstone Technician comes too late and is so low tempo that it actively hinders the decks where it can do the most good, i.e. minion-heavy decks. It has not been tested as extensively as Blackguard, so there may be some uses for it, but I find that unlikely.
Beyond Odd Paladin: Decks for Laddering with Paladin in Boomsday Meta
I’ve only seen the control list with both types of eggs and Kangor’s Endless Army. We featured it in a control decks article early in Boomsday, but it has not had lasting success. Perhaps it can rise again.
Beyond Odd Paladin: Decks for Laddering with Paladin in Boomsday Meta
You’ve built a nice deck! I need to try to hit The Voraxx more often with Potion of Heroism and see how it goes.
Worst Class in The Boomsday Project: Decks for Laddering With Priest in the Boomsday Meta
Resurrect would be way too strong. So much value and more tempo than Hunter’s Hero Power.
My dream Priest Hero effect would be to let the Priest Hero Power and spells overheal the Hero, i.e. allow Priest to go above 30 Health.

Interesting. That’s a very unique tech, there are no Control Priest decks with Shadow Madness in them on HSReplay, for example. Can indeed do work as an anti-aggro tech if that’s the meta you’re facing.
I’m not completely sure about it though, as those are the traditional good matchups anyway, and it does not give you reach against the armor-heavy opponents who are usually the bad matchups.
Yes, it does indeed, it is a great hand buff target!
