The Winners and Losers of the May 22nd Balance Update
Wait what do you mean Nomi Priest will be a beneficiary of increased Bomb Warrior? Bomb Warrior wipes the floor with Nomi Priest.
Decks You Can Try Before Year of the Dragon Standard Rotation - Part 2 (Odd & Even)
Yeah the day where I don’t have to run into gallery priest and odd paladin again will be the day I cry with joy.
Until I decide to get into Wild that is.

I ran into an Odd Priest once. I think I was playing Odd Warrior or Evenlock (don’t remember and I was trying to find the replay but couldn’t) and it was a really long match. It ran different cards than Toast’s autocomplete deck and definitely seemed better. Still didn’t look meta breaking though.

Aggghhhh while I had real problems with how some Genn and Baku decks were (*cough* Paladin *cough*) I’m going to miss so many of these decks. Odd Rogue, Even Warlock, and Even Shaman were/are some of my favorite decks. I’m gonna miss them.

I agree with you. I’ve played both Togwaggle and Mecha’thun Druid back in Boomsday and I had fun doing it but those decks aren’t really fun to play against because combo disruption is really hard when many decks don’t have the means to hard tech against combos. Infinite OTK like DK Uther and Mecha’thun are pretty unhealthy mechanics for this reason, I think, even though they can be pretty fun to play (and watch the animation).

Quick correction: Lifedrinker is from the Witchwood and isn’t rotating yet.
What’s Paladin Losing in the 2019 Standard Hearthstone Rotation?
If I had to guess, that was missing due to a typo where it says “If that wasn’t already good enough, Paladin received and Sunkeeper Tarim. Those two control tools…” I think it’s supposed to say Spikeridged Steed between “Paladin received” and “and Sunkeeper Tarim”.
Will there be combo decks in Hearthstone's Year of the Dragon?
I’ve tried Mecha’thun Rogue with several different shells. I’ve tried a Hooktusk pirate package, a Raiding Party pirate/weapon package, and a Corpsetaker package, as well as experimenting with whether or not I need Vanish and Valeera the Hollow or if I can just create a midrange style type deck (with Hench-Clan Thug and whatnot) with a surprise Mecha’thun combo. The main problem I’ve run into is, as you said, fending off aggression, which is why I tried out an aggro/midrange shell for an alternative win condition and make the deck rely on Mecha’thun only against control, but I’ve found that it’s hard to fit all of that into one deck. (I also dropped Galvanizer in favor of WANTED! to fit in Keleseth to boost the aggro side of things.)
I have yet to try a Mecha’thun Rogue deck that just uses a ton of pure defense and cycling (mostly because I don’t have Thalnos, Evasion, or Doomsayer) but given how weak Malygos Rogue is to aggro, I would imagine Mecha’thun Rogue would have the same problems, if not worse.
All in all, I really like the idea of Mecha’thun Rogue because of how clean and easy the combo is. It just has the not insignificant problem of getting there.
Hearthstone Winter Veil 2018 - Wonder Bundle, Winter Veil Quest, Card Back
To be honest, though, I don’t feel the need to buy Rastakhan packs because of how useless a lot the cards are right now…I’m mostly interested in Classic and Boomsday
Oh wait never mind I misread it. Sorry about that.
