October 22 Fall Reveal Will Contain New Expansion, Game Mode and "System Revamp" Announcements
I can just hope for the System Revamp to include some kind of upgrade to the client, it desperately need adjustements now more than ever with the inclusion of Battlegrounds.
Budget Tempo Priest Deck List & Guide (Scholomance Academy)
Tempo Priest will hardly work with no consistent card draw to stabilize against board clears, we can argue “But the deck has Voracious Reader in it” but we also have buffs and their nature is to be held in hand to target some good minion, which the deck doesn’t have except maybe for Devout Pupil.
Mindrender Illucia
It doesn’t work with bran, you swap twice but you also swap back twice.
Devout Pupil
This should be a Paladin only card, it’s a wasted slot in Priest since the class doesn’t have good buff spells, Blizzard shouldn’t have put that Friendly restricion to make it usable for both classes.
Lorekeeper Polkelt
This card tutors Shadowreaper Anduin and secures you a lategame with cheap cards to use with voidform.
5/5 in wild.
Headmaster Kel'Thuzad
Spellburst triggers ‘After’ the spell is played so you would have to wait until defile stop dealing damage.
Frazzled Freshman
Probably busted in any other class BUT, it’s in Priest.
Now tempo Priest is constantly being pushed by Blizzard, there is only just one flaw in that archetype for Priest and it’s Huge, the class doesn’t have card draw, it’s almost impossible for the deck to be able to recover after a board clear.
17.0.1 Sever Hotfix - Invoke Cards, Boomsday Puzzle Labs, Maiev Shadowsong and more! (DELAYED UNTIL MONDAY)
Dude that’s awesome, Preparing myself for infinite value disciple of galakrond shenanigans :b
17.0.1 Sever Hotfix - Invoke Cards, Boomsday Puzzle Labs, Maiev Shadowsong and more! (DELAYED UNTIL MONDAY)
I wonder, does this mean now that we are able to get Invoke related cards from card generation if Galakrond is in our deck?
10 Card Nerfs Being Reverted Before The Upcoming Rotation (Including One Card from This Year)
Last Year it was on April 9th with Rise of Shadows* my bad, kinda sleepy.
10 Card Nerfs Being Reverted Before The Upcoming Rotation (Including One Card from This Year)
Last year it was on April 12th when The Witchwood was released, this year it should be the same, around mid april as well and the sets rotating out are The Witchwood, Boomsday Proyect and Rastakhan Rumble.
Graveyard Priest - Muzzy - Descent of Dragons
This is mostly Nomi Priest, you might want to add it as an extra finisher, and other thing is that sathrovar can do a similar and ofter a better job than shadowy figure.
Sandhoof Waterbearer
It’s a mini Ragnaros LightLord as Common card for priest, I like it.
I’d like to argue, is it true that for most player this new system will be better? Because, Hearhtstone as any other card game it’s pretty casual, I doubt most people play over 4 hours everyday it would be way more realistic to say that most people play about 1 hour a day, 2 hours at most (this situation might be different during special seasons like after a new expansion is released), the math considering this amount of time played has showed that you indeed get less gold (J’alexander and even trump’s math) BUT you get some packs/resources instead that in total worth more than in the old reward system, and the thing is that some people don’t care about old packs, or random cards, and we were explicitly told that we would get equal or more raw gold.
As you mention and as everyone who have played this game for some time would know, the previous reward system was already deficent and improvements were requested during years, now we finally got a rework of it but it turns out to be slightly worse? (My pov as someone who only care about the gold obtained to be able to craft most of the cards of the upcoming expansion).
