Libram of Wisdom
I made a standard deck for this, the link https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/libram-quest-paladin-2/ . Looks like a fun deck to me, with a pretty easy combo. 🙂
Guardian Augmerchant
Just because it has self-damage synergy, doesn’t meen you have to play it in a self damage-deck, this is good without those synergies, you can give your minions a shield in late game or early game for trades, basically making it so they only take 1 damage instead of more, it can also target enemies, and then becomes a elven archer with +1 attack, that’s good. My point is: this is a solid card, and it doesn’t fit into a self damage warrior, but is just a good 1 drop overal. (4.5/5)
Coilfang Warlord
Whut!?!??! they reveal a elemental pack-filler, and the add a minion with better keywords AND a better statline!?!?? And it costs 2 less?!?!? this looks like one of the better demon hunter cards from this set. i’d say 5/5 but seem more of a control demon hunter card, and I don’t know if that will make the cut, but from what i’ve been seeing up until now, it’ll probably make it. 🙂
Priestess of Fury
Now it’s confirmed… Every warlock is going to need to run 2 sacrificial pacts.
Replicat-o-tron
Effects from the same minion happen in order from left to right, though it differs with other minions.
Replicat-o-tron
this also synergises with cards such as libram of wisdom, but this is really just: give buffs to this minion, and it transforms other, weaker, minions into copies of it, thereby making your board a lot stronger. It could also maybe be in shaman with evolve effects… it’s also another card that requires players to think about board positioning…
Replicat-o-tron
Does neighbor also include enemy minions in front of this? that would be interesting…
Libram of Wisdom
This might work quite well in quest pally: Copying the deathrattles for additional copies of this card, and at some point (4 HPs) you fill your hand with these when one of your minions dies, and you can buff a friendly minion for +10/+10 each turn, quickly finishing the game. All you need to do is complete the quest, and play one of those libram discount cards. this is the replacement for mechs in quest pally in that sense… awesome!!! 🙂
Mok'Nathal Lion
this, is basically that one rogue card, unearthed raptor, except it costs 1 more, has rush, and has a higher attack statline, good for copying and immediately trading into an enemy minion to trigger the deathrattle, this is especially strong with cards such as augmented porcupine, dealing 5 damage to a enemy minion, and then dealing 5 damage randomly split among all enemies. 5/5, it’s removal AND deathrattle synergy in one card.
Sethekk Veilweaver
It’s a cheaper version of lyra the sunshard, but with the condition of having to cast the spells on minions, so buffs on your minions, and removals on enemy minions, seems pretty solid, exspecialy with the new power word: shield, imagine having one or two of those in hand and playing this with some free health-buffs, while replacing them for more (random) spells! but it’s still 4/5 cause it’s effect is good, but balanced.
Shadow Council
In standard, there will be 36 demons (that we know of) 7 of which are 1 mana, 5 are 2 mana, 6 3 mana, 3 4 mana, 2 5 mana, 6 6 mana, 1 7 mana, 2 8 mana, 3 9 mana (though one is Jaraxxus), and 1 10 mana demon. So more than half of these demons are under 4 mana, making them quite strong in the early game. But knowing this expansion will have a lot to do with demons, there will probably be more in standard, 45-50, but even then you have to have bad RNG to not get a one drop, two drop, or a three drop. And later in the game it stil provides value (the other half of the demons are 5+ mana minions).
so it has a pretty even balance between early and late game value.
This card’s only real weakness is the imprisoned demons, as they don’t instantly benefit from the added +2/+2, the stars will be voidwalker, battlefiend, frenzied felwing, and flame imp for the early game (also possibly vilefiend, imprisoned scrap imp, and fellgaurd) and for latter game, wrathspike brute, hulking overfiend, stand out, though they’re all good because of the bonus stats. still 3/5 card though if no support is printed, we also still don’t know what the warlock prime will be, that might be a solid demon too, most of the neutral commons are also bound to be demons. we just need more info on the rest of the set, though I myself will most likely make some kind of “fun deck” with it cause I just love the card.
it’s a 3/5 printed card, but a 5/5 fun card 🙂
Ashes of Outland Card List & Expansion Guide! Release Date, Card Reveals, Pre-Purchase Info, New Mechanics and More!
Ok, Thanks! (I’m pretty sure the adventure will look more like galakrond’s awakening than dungeon run, pretty sure I saw a clip of the layout somewhere, and it looked like galakrond’s awakening)
Ashes of Outland Card List & Expansion Guide! Release Date, Card Reveals, Pre-Purchase Info, New Mechanics and More!
Anyone know if there will be a paywall for the ashes of outlands adventure? Cause I hope, not…
Augmented Porcupine
(As long as they don’t cost more that 5, or have effect+ a battlecry, such as King of Beasts)
(5 mana 2/6 beast with TAUNT and BATTLECRY: gain +1 attack for each other beast you control)
(utter garbage though, so that’s fine)
Beastmaster Leoroxx
This can als be good in wild with Deathstalker Rexxar, two hero powers of the most expensive/overstated beasts, + king Crush or Tundra rhino, and you’re good to go (face)
Augmented Porcupine
I know right?!? DS is getting crazy buffs, two fairly cheap beasts who really want to be buffed. And by the way to answer your “Question” the hunter AND neutral beasts from this set (and other sets too) will be added to DeathStalker’s minion pool. 😉
Edit Aldor Truthseeker, not Thruthseeker… oops. 🙂
