Quest Rogue Deck List Guide - Witchwood - May 2018
Hey MorbidAngel, I just posted a deck recently that’s based off this deck but with a few tweaks that got me 5 ranks higher than the original did. Try it out and let me know http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/the-cavern-below-quest-rogue/
It addresses the problem you mentioned.
Quest Rogue Deck List Guide - Witchwood - May 2018
If you are another rogue deck – betrayal. Mage – volcanic potion for removing tokens early on to stop them from getting 5/5s, Shaman – lightning storm. Warrior – whirlwind, brawl, or anything else that does aoe damage. Paladin – consecration turn 4 is devastating, or equality consecration. (pyro – adapt- poisonous works 33% of the time too) Druid – harder to counter but swipe or starfall. Pirate warrior is naturally strong against this deck. Warlock – be faster than the rogue if you’re zoo, if you’re handlock – good luck, usually too slow to stop rogue most of the time, otherwise hellfire (which deals damage to yourself too if you can afford it). Hunter – explosive traps. Etc. There can be other ways but these are off the top of my head

Made a few tweaks that got me to an even higher rank, check it out. http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/the-cavern-below-quest-rogue/
Fr0zen's Un'Goro Y'Shaarj Ramp Druid (April 2017, Season 37)
Yikes too much legendary for me to use.
Eloise's Rank 1 Legend Sherazin Miracle Rogue (April 2017, Season 37)
sorry, there is none. That card is literally part of the deck theme.

patches isn’t absolutely needed, it is nice to have 1 less card in the deck to draw. But you can add 1 vanish or (or both) 1 oracle to help with draws. (You always start out with a good hand nor always draw nicely)
N'zoth Jade Pirate Rogue
Hello simeplminded, that isn’t actually the issue (until Thursday). I used this deck in standards (and on the top it’s tagged as standards) and climbed to rank 5 with it. (I haven’t updated since I posted the deck however – but in terms of the list nothing has changed). This is not a concept deck, it’s an actual ladder climbing deck for the previous month. If you are referring to the upcoming update – then yes it would be an issue. But this was posted last month. Thanks for the comment!
The Last Kaleidosaur (Theorycraft - Wild)
Hey Likefia, thanks for the comment, I agree with the nzoth for dinosize, as for sunkeeper I think he should stay instead of an another draw, his value is just crazy good 3/7 taunt and turns all minions to 3/3 including your tokens which can trade with other 3/3. I think draw won’t be too much of a problem because we have a bunch of spare parts (with your addition of tinkertown). We don’t want to flood our hands too much. Divine favor may be a good idea because since you start your hand off with the quest (which replaces one of your other cards) you’ll need that quick early game draw. Maybe we can remove 1 blessing of might or 1 hand of protection. With these addition it may turn into a midrange deck instead which is fine as well
The Last Kaleidosaur
Adding on to my previous comment, I completely skipped blessing of might, hand of protection and blessing of kings, so probably more buff cards will be played but it’s still quite hard.
On another note if this is played in wild it’ll be wonderful. The reason is because of Djinni’s ability which will count towards the quest.
The Last Kaleidosaur
I feel the same, the quest is awful. Counting all of paladin’s spells available (removing GtG cards for the next rotation) it only has blessing of wisdom, divine strength, silvermoon portal and blessed champion to cast on (your) minions. That’s really really bad. I can probably see 1-2 of those cards being used but not all of them. They also hyped us up with the videos for the paladin legendary reward but the card isn’t as good as I was hoping it would be. Don’t get me wrong the card itself IS GOOD and has massive value and the only counter is either a full board clear (like equality and consecration, or frost nova and pyro) or shaman devolve, but what i’m saying is that I was expecting something more unique like with warlock nether portal or hunter queen carnassa. So in order for paladin to be in the meta at all they need to make the remaining paladin cards good spells, but if they make the remaining paladin cards spells then there goes the whole token paladin deck as well :/. Paladin has been going downhill ever since secret paladin, which sucks since it’s my favorite class as well.
N'zoth Jade Pirate Rogue
Hello kr1xus7, I think verbatim is the wrong term cause that’s more related to literature sense (like word for word) but I’m not here to correct your vocabulary. Anyway thank for your comment. The theme is similar to other jade rogue but this play style is slightly different due to shadowstep and nzoth. It’s the same with other decks like jade shaman for example – every pro has a similar theme but add their own touch to it and so do other players as well. That doesn’t mean this deck is just a copy of a pro streamer. (I’m not trying to attack you, just giving an explanation) anyway I’m glad you are having fun with the deck cause that’s the initial plan for the deck (beginning of the summary I mentioned it’s original intention) have a good one.
Glad you’re having fun with it! And I don’t think there will be a huge nerf, maybe a small one. All they have to do is increase the quest mana cost by 1 and it’ll slow everything down. Because the point of these quest is to get these op cards, (although they screwed up with paladin imo – but maybe someone will think of a method). For now, enjoy it while you can!
