The Top Classic Decks to Try (Again) in Classic Mode
I see most interesting possibility in Classic the fact that now I have most of the cards that I just did not had in 2014. I’m missing only 4 legendaries and 1 epic from all those decks above. So it’s not question if I can compete with budget decks or not but more like if I can compete or not. Sure meta will be stale, but it still gives most players same changes to play with good decks that does not get old in 4 months.
Steeldancer
I love this design. Might not be enough for current power creep meta to be usable, but is awesome old time tempo card.
New video by Amazing LP - "Fel vs. Fire"
Indeed! Still they could think to do something for those “animation times”…
17.0 Hotfix Coming Soon - New/Returning Player Decks, Kingsbane, Living Roots, Invoke Cards and More Bugs!
Hey.
Doomerang. Did it returned Kingsbane in hand with full durability or as it was in hand (as it does now)?
Magtheridon
With full mana you can combine this with Flik. Thought depends heavily on board whether it’s worth it. And you might like to get Flik back too but can’t in this scenario.
Warmaul Challenger
What you could count is that for example DoD had 36 rare cards with doubles that would be 72 without any threes. On worst scenario (without thinking pity timers) you will get one rare for each pack. So when you open 72 packs you are guaranteed to have all rares.
On my counts you will get all commons for ~25-30 packs depending how much others than commons you will get.
Same goes for epics and legendaries but then you need to know more of pity timers and actual drop rates.
If pity timer of 40 for legendary is accurate. You can count having all legendaries (for a set) opening 960 packs. Brobably will have everything else too. Actually you can have full set less than that as at some point you will have enough dust to craft rest of the set. If you count average dust per pack to be 100 you will need ~625 packs. That could be quite accurate amount to get full set. Brobably someone who actually does this for living could ensure this.
Imprisoned Antaen
I think if you play it on turn 7, it will activate on your turn 7. Probably it can attack then also.
Worst Designed Cards and Mechanics in the History of Hearthstone
What comes to the original burgle. Instead of making burgling target to be another class that your own it could have been changed so that any burgled card would have been target for synergy cards. Like mage has his own mechanism for cards that did not start on own deck.
Just make it read “stolen/burgled” instead of “another class” and define well what stolen/burgled means. Like dunno there is not many pigholes to burgle if you define it well enough. This way mirror matches would be fine and flavor would have been intact.
Worst Designed Cards and Mechanics in the History of Hearthstone
I would add resurrect mechanism into list. It also can create quite “infinite” value. What I generally hate most is situation where the game is possible to win but odds are thin and game will probably be long.
10 Card Nerfs Being Reverted Before The Upcoming Rotation (Including One Card from This Year)
If The Caverns Below will get reverted I will craft it even if it won’t see any play. I just cannot avoid it.
10 Card Nerfs Being Reverted Before The Upcoming Rotation (Including One Card from This Year)
Indeed that could get problematic. I once played against deck that got two (not sure how as I think getting one is standard way?) 12/12 into game quite early. I was very very lucky and won that match (unfortunately won’t remember how), but indeed that would be a problem.
Patch 16.2 is Out! Galakrond's Awakening Launch, Two New Battlegrounds Heroes and Minions, Bug Fixes and Improvements
Still not on IOS, but Android has it.
Flik Skyshiv
No, it won’t trigger deathrattles from deck (tested). Maybe if you have all in hand..
Descent of Dragons Balance Changes - Shaman Nerfs Coming Next Week!
Board full of ever spawning Waxadreds would be cool, but it’s just too slow. Maybe it will have some changes after nerfs. But Rogue has better tools now so unless those are hit it probably won’t happen. And if Apothecary gets hit, it will also effect possible Waxadred builds.
Descent of Dragons Balance Changes - Shaman Nerfs Coming Next Week!
This might not be your cup of tea, but I found at one point that I had enough wild cards (never dusted em) for T1 wild deck (First Kingsbane Rogue and now Odd Rogue (I also have wild Secret Mage and Mech Paladin decks, but like Rogue most)). Now this is 4th month in a row that I had got rank 5 or better. Those Wild decks are not so fast to change so you can have decent deck and make good play with it without the hassle to always need to rebuild it from scratch.
New Shop Is Here! Buy Wild Card Packs & Adventures In Game - Tyrande & Sylvanas Heroes Will Come Out Tomorrow With Descent of Dragons
Not fully sure about this in older sets. I got my first legendary from GvsG set after 30-40 packs.
And I was actually buying those because I also thought that it should be so.
Did not made same mistake with Grand Tournament even that I planned to buy both sets until first legendary.
Disclaimer. As those sets are old and so em I there could be that I might have opened those 10 first before, but I don’t recall dusting any old wild legendaries so I believe that I really haven’t got those before.
So You Want To Build Rogue in the Descent of Dragons Meta? Rogue Card Packages + Theorycrafts
I’m thinking shuffling as many Waxadreds and Candles as possible into deck then just waiting to have full field of Waxes for the rest of game. Sure I need to think carefully what else to include to keep my poor rogue alive. Probably mostly meme, but gotta try.
Old Guardian's Highlander Galakrond Rogue (theorycraft)
I was so sure that it missed last invoke. Looked it so many times. But yes now it makes sense.
Wondering if this activates Shadowjeweler Hanar? Probably not, but would be interesting if it does.
