I am aware of that, but that does’nt really change a thing, still sucks.

Too slow, let’s say u play this on turn 4. U then have to wait 5 turns to get 10 mana crystals and that’s on turn 9.
So u basically only ramp 4 one mana crystal on turn 9, that sucks..
MAYBE u can pull off some cool shenanigans, but it still sucks since u have to invest so much into it and that’s a big downside.
This card reminds me of Astral communion, that card also has a downside but atleast it’s faster and is somewhat playable.

I am aware of it’s flexibility, but Nourish is a better “flexibility” card since u can draw 3 cards or Ramp. Same with Feral rage.

Summary: not a good card, i would definetly run Feral rage, Savage roar or Nourish over this card.

Yeah but Quartermaster has the buff attached to it’s body, if u play Lvl up! u can have more recruits on the board.

It’s a good card because u can pull out big beasts from ur deck lik Highmane or King krush… I don’t think it will see pro play tho’

First of all i hit Legend every month and i have alot of exp. with secret mage, u have enough tempo with Wyrm, Arcanologist, Valet , Apprentice and KTM. Babbling book is in secret mage because u have a high chance of getting secrets and useful spells, therefor it’s a little more useful than Crawler.

If u don’t play with KTM then u have to play secrets for full mana (or 2 mana with Apprentice) and that’s slow. KTM is better than scalebane 4 that reason alone. KTM is what kinda defines secret mage if u cut then the deck loses it’s purpose.

u don’t play DK AND Jaraxxus lul. Also u have alot of weird cards like Sense demons, Crazed alchemist and Bonemare (ur not an aggro deck)
