To My Side!
Why tho?
I can imagine To My Side being played in a type of deck that doesn’t exist as of yet.
I can’t imagine why would any sane person put Crushing Walls in their deck. Any deck. Ever.
To My Side!
The power level of Kazakus as a card is much higher than this, though. High enough to keep playing highlander style even after Reno, a clearly overpowered card (as every hunter player can attest :P), rotated out.
(Also it helps that 1ofs is way less of a downside compared to no-minions, when the game of HS is basically all about minion on minion combat. Even a friggin spell based combo deck like Freeze Mage doesn’t work without certain minions. But that’s beside the point).
The point is that To my side! is not that kind of card that’s worth building the deck around. It could be a nice supplementary card, that’s about it.
So that’s the issue with saying “wait until Blizzard releases more cards for this type of deck”. Imagine if the first highlander card they ever released was Inkmaster Solia, and not Reno. The reaction would have been the same as now – lol wut?
And if that’s the case, then it IS a pretty dumb decision on their part. Although Blizzard does shit like that sometimes – they’ve been trying to make people play “taunt warrior” for years, releasing all these meh taunt minions and taunt related cards, until they had enough and finally gave us that one legendary which made it a thing, at least for a few months (ironically, without any of these previous meh cards).
So yeah, all-spell hunter might be a thing in the future, but it also might be that To My Side won’t get to be a part of it.
Murmuring Elemental
No official confirmation from the devs yet.
But the effect has the same wording as Brann (“trigger twice”), and multiple Branns didn’t stack, so the educated guess would be that this doesn’t stack either.
Kingsbane
Gives it back, with buffs if it had any. And of course a copy goes into the deck because of deathrattle.

Haven’t heard of a “a deck that relies on dropping Maly and killing them a turn later”.
A win condition that depends on your opponent being gracious enough to leave its centerpiece intact on the board for your next turn is not a viable deck building strategy.
So the only way to make 100% sure that it survives until your next turn, is to have two turns in a row.
Before this expansion that wasn’t even a thing to consider. Now in theory you could do something like that as a priest with Temporus, but that doesn’t seem too smart, considering that you’d still depend on drawing one unique dragon naturally (and most importantly, before your other unique dragon, or otherwise this whole grand scheme doesn’t work anymore).
Unstable Evolution
It’s not really a choice of one or the other, tho.
If you’re evolve shaman you gonna play both, simple as that. And if you’re not evolve shaman you don’t care about either (although this one has some potential in some non-evolve lists where regular Evolve doesn’t make any sense at all).
Branching Paths
Yea, that makes sense.
For slower druid decks this card seems utterly pointless.
In decks that run 2x UI (meaning every slower druid deck), a 4 mana spell with very situational effects is too clunky, especially when there are 1 mana cost equivalents if you really care about attack/armor choices; and it can’t really replace Nourish either.
Kathrena Winterwisp
Woah, the first hunter legendary that is actually playable?! PogChamp
The most interesting thing about it to me is that even if you put it in a deck that is not purely built around it, and it low rolls a golakka, alleycat or something like that, there’s still the silver lining that you won’t top deck that early game minion anymore either (which at that point in the game it’s a good thing most of the time).
8 mana is a lot for hunters though.
Cheat Death
It’s not an aggro card at all, so why would you evaluate it from that point of view.
Potentially very strong in miracle decks. For stuff like Auctioneer, Arcane Giants, VanCleef, Malygos…
Phoenix can hit face.
This has to hit “a minion” (so if the only minion on the board is friendly, you’d be forced to shoot it).
