Gaslight Gatekeeper
Between this, Sir Finley and Plot Twist? That sounds filthy.
Therefore I am interested. XD
Dryscale Deputy
Hare to gauge which cards will be meta or not at this stage – but in Wild, Even decks can find a use of this.
Even Warrior won’t say no to more removal or armor and … maybe Even Shaman though that deck feels tuned enough as is.
And Quest Mage? While it can’t copy Time Warp, copying say… Evocation is a big deal.
Maybe not Standard but not all the cards are out yet. But I am sure Wild players are already salivating.
Saloon Brewmaster
I can smell the double Yogg already. Provided they don’t nerf it by then.
Top Standard, Wild & Twist Legend Decks - TITANS + Fall of Ulduar (Week 11) - October 2023
Ah! Good to know! Thanks for that regardless.

Question – will HST ever post Sideboard lists along with ETC? I know that probably requires some coding but I’d love to see it with some of these decklists. Might be good to put in the individual deck guides? (I know those aren’t updated anymore, might be an easy solution if you get around to it).
My two cents. Keep the good work.
(Live Now!) Hearthstone 27.4.2 Patch Notes - Standard, Wild, Twist Battlegrounds and Duels Changes, Bug Fixes
Happy about this entire patch.
Good news – this may be the nail in Discard Warlock’s coffin in Wild and is certainly the last time you’ll see Miracle Druid for a while.
Bad news – Even Shaman escaped nerfs again and Frog Shaman is likely toast. So I’ll be seeing you with an army of totems next month. xD
Restructuring At Blizzard, Multiple Hearthstone Employees Getting Laid Off
Eloquently put.
It’s really sad that people would rather do this. I see so much toxicity on the Hearthstone forums from people who are just so angry that they lose (and I am saying this about something I love) AT A DAMN GAME WITH NOTHING TANGIBLE ANYWHERE IN THE REAL WORLD. You want to “fix” Hearthstone? Go learn game development, start a team and make a triple-A card game. Go ahead. I’m waiting. Can’t wait to see you how you handle complex data structures when you can’t even handle yourself.
And if you side with devs? Well, obviously you work for Blizzard. Seriously, get a grip, people. Game dev is tough. Game devs are human. Don’t be dicks.
Decency and compassion are lacking in people. It’s like we forgot how to talk to each other. And some gamers seem proud of how unbelievably toxic they are, not realizing that every bad stereotype that non-gamers have about gamers is being proved true by their behavior.
Rant concluded.

Considering that Bobby Kotick stands to profit heavily from the Microsoft merger, I am sure he is laughing all the way to the bank.
I won’t kick a gamedev – their job is hard enough. But Bobby Kotick’s picture might as well be in the dictionary next to “greedy gaming CEO.”
Hearthstone's Gadgetzan Auctioneer Is Likely Getting Nerfed In The Next Patch, Possibly Releasing Next Week
Good riddance. Tony Druid brought me back nightmares of Togwaggle Druid. Glad to see that nerf. Didn’t they say they were looking at Warlock in particular?
Nerf candidates/predictions:
– Chamber of Viscidus: Will go to 3/4 mana, durability will drop to 2, or # of cards to choose from will drop to 2. This card is what revive Discardlock.
– Soul Barrage: Will only affect enemy minions and not the opponent or will drop to 4 damage. I am amazed they have not done this yet.
– Tiny Knight of Evil: Discards will only give +2 Attack but not Health. This is how they dealt with Murloc Warleader back in the day.
– Gadgetzan Auctioneer: Will go to 7 mana or will only draw on the first spell cast each turn.
Yogg-Saron Has Been Unleashed! The Best Decks in the Early Fall of Ulduar Meta
Vezax is so good. While I agree that not every deck will play him, I feel most players who are still running Khazgoroth will likely replace him with Vezax. A 7/6 that can knock out a big threat, give you Armor, then revive to knock out another threat and STILL trigger Stoneskin Armorer is a nice tool to have in the deck.
Hearthstone Fall of Ulduar Anomalies Explained, How Does Cho'Gall, Twilight Chieftain Work (Updated)
Good thing I hit Legend before this dropped. Ugh. You would think they would just do some buffs/nerfs to change up the metas again but RNG? This seems like a Tavern Brawl idea that somebody decided would be GREAT for Ranked.
Worse off, as you mentioned in the article, some matches will be downright unwinnable if certain anomalies happen. Of course, if you’re tired of playing against Even Shaman (sorry/not sorry), it will be hilarious watching them lose their hero power.
Oh my, this will be madness. Can’t wait to read the raging which usually matches said madness by 10x.
Hearthstone Caverns of Time Wild Expansion - Rest of the Set, Signature Cards, Battle-Ready Decks and More Details!
I do like how they made it these new Signatures available from Caverns packs. Wouldn’t mind that awesome new Patches art.
Top Standard & Wild Legend Decks - TITANS (Week 3) - August 2023
Amazed to not see an Even Shaman deck. It’s still quite powerful.

yeah finally working here in NA too. You may have to reload Hearthstone on iOS after the update.
"Wild Summit" at Blizzard - Big Changes Coming To Wild Format Soon?
Great ideas. I have to agree that Wild cards should cost less dust. I also feel that may drive a bit more experimentation in decks.
Tavern Brawl - Blood Magic
Mine was close enough to this, dropped Pyroblast and a few others turn one and opponent rage quit pretty soon after. If you high roll, you can just blow through an opponent fast. Ice Block is also a good add.
"Wild Summit" at Blizzard - Big Changes Coming To Wild Format Soon?
Another option is “Restricting” cards for certain classes or making it to where some cards can only have one instead of two copies – however as an amateur indie dev I am sure this is a LOT of work on the backend.
"Wild Summit" at Blizzard - Big Changes Coming To Wild Format Soon?
Summit? They should be doing this more regularly. Wild has been hard to balance and at times (to be fair, Standard does this too) can lead to oppressive metas. Discard Warlock is too dependable at the moment – but if you had asked me during Kobolds & Catacombs whether Cataclysm was gonna be a problem card in a few years, I would have thought it madness. And yet…
Does Team 5 have people that specifically consider card costs for, say, Shaman class knowing Even Shaman is a thing? Likely they do (Grand Totem Ey’sor is a 3 drop) or perhaps players are (certainly) more creative than they think? (Popping the Twig of the Mana Tree with Sphere of Sapience for instance is a thing).
And Demon Hunter is almost not worth playing in Wild whatsoever at the moment. How do you remedy a class that hasn’t been around as long? Death Knight has managed a tier-2 placement at last (thanks to Construct Quarter) but it’s still got the drawback of lower card pools to choose from.
An “Extended” format sounds like a solution but its more money to keep up with. However having a smaller pool of cards can make balancing easier in the long run. Some other solutions:
– Allow wild decks or wild “collections” for reduced prices to help with building legacy collections
– Discount old adventures and wild packs in general (or perhaps intro deals like they do for new/returning players) to lower barriers to entry

Astalor – 1-mana increase for all “levels” of the card
Priest will never say no to more Discovery. Or card-copying shenanigans.
Worth a slot in Reno Priest.
