Blizzard just posted what is almost surely a teaser for the upcoming Whizbang’s Workshop mini-set. We already knew that it should be coming very soon (given the Heroic Tavern Brawl and, well, just the regular update schedule) but this pretty much confirms it.
The teaser is honestly quite straightforward too. It talks about “explosive announcement” and “something bombastic”. And the featured clip straight up shows artwork for the Dr. Boom's Scheme card from Rise of Shadows with a countdown. Yep, the teaser clearly points towards our favorite villain – Dr. Boom. He was already a part of the Whizbang’s Workshop’s storyline, so he will fit right in. Probably in a “Grinch-like” role of trying to ruin all the fun.
And this time we don’t even have to speculate about the timing – we know that whatever this is teasing will get announced tomorrow at 10 AM PT (19:00 CET). It was easy to predict given that the last few mini-set teasers all came a day before the actual announcement, but still. The announcement will most likely be followed by a short card reveal season over the course of this week and then the mini-set will release next week. At least that’s how it worked for the last few mini-sets.

You think they raise the price since we are getting “more” gold?
No way, that would be a PR suicide.
And they have never done such a thing before… oh wait … XD
Well, we dodged that one – for now.
I mean yeah, they made some seriously stupid decisions in the past (including very recent past), but I don’t think they ever doubled-down like that after a massive community outrage.
