Lesser Emerald Spellstone
Remember the 10 mana summon 7 3/3 mummies? Well this summons 4 3/3 Beasts in its final form, for 5 mana less. If it was a 10 drop, it should summon 8 3/3’s, so it already has higher value. The Best tag just makes it even better.
And like others have said, even without upgrades it’s a must-have in Arena.
Lynessa Sunsorrow
Why are people bashing this card? it’s absolute nuts! Play adapt, get Stealth or Spell immunity, and your Lynessa will come out Stealthed or Spell immune. Heck if you get Stealth, you can combo it with Faceless Manipulator and get absolutely insane value. It has way higher value than Tyrion, and Tyrion saw A LOT of play. If you don’t get lucky, your opponent STILL has to use precious polymorph/silence removal on your minion (there aren’t a lot of those).
Deck of Wonders
I did not think Blizzard could possibly make a card more random than Yogg-Saron, but here it is. At least with Yogg you choose WHEN the randomness happens, this is just complete randomness at complete random times.
Lone Champion
This card’s nuts in Handbuff Pally. Turn 2: Play Outfiter, Turn 3: Trade your Outfiter into any enemy minion and play this for a 3 mana 3/5 Divine Shield + Taunt, guaranteed to win you back the board unless Shadow Word: Pain.
Zola the Gorgon
This is basically a better Panda. Why? Because it generates another card instead of bouncing it back to hand, letting you keep the minion you already have on board.
The Runespear
An 8 mana 3/3 weapon (that casts 1 random spell with random targets, to a possibility of maximum 3) is pretty damn weak & slow. It needs some serious synergy like 10 mana Shaman spell that fully heals hero and draws 3 cards.
Cheat Death
This is actually really scary in Prince decks. I can already see someone activating prince effect 5 times, giving all cards in deck +5/+5.
Tolin's Goblet
I can’t wait for the Trolden highlights of this card drawing cards like “Sprint” or “Ultimate Infestation”.
Wretched Tiller
Absolutely right! Unless, you buff it or it survives multiple turns. But what are the odds of a 1/1 surviving multiple turns? And even if you buff it, it deals +2 face dmg on attacks. It’s still not impressive.
If it was “deal this minion’s Attack as damage to the enemy hero” now that’s another thing. Might actually see play in some crazy Aggro buff deck.
Gnash
Indeed. Bash could ignore Taunts and it dealt no damage to you. The only thing this bypasses are “Can’t be targeted by spells” minions.
Now that Lifesteal minions are plenty. If you attack, let’s say, the priest 3 mana 3-3 lifesteal, it’s basically a 3 mana remove your opponent’s 3 drop and give him +3 Health. Which is, really not that great.
Venomancer
A hard-to-kill 5 mana poisonous minion? Well Giant Wasp is the same, but for 3 mana instead. And it sees play in budget decks.
Will this see play in constructed? Absolutely not.
Arena? Meh, there are worst commons than this.
Tainted Zealot
A sticky cheap spell-power minion with Divine Shield synergy. It’s actually a decent card. If paladin gets some cheap aoe spells, this will definitely see play.
Keening Banshee
Like lmaloony, is the downside of potentially losing 3 cards in your deck worth that +1 Attack OR +1 Health from a Vanilla Minion that doesn’t see any play?
In Arena, maaybe you would play this card. In Constructed? No one would ever give it a second glance.
Toxic Arrow
Oh really? Have you shot anyone with a poisonous arrow before and tasted their blood to know exactly?
Wretched Tiller
Just to be clear, there are 2 cards with 0 mana 1/1, one of them has a frickin MURLOC tag, and they still almost never saw play.
This card has no tag on it, so it could safely cost 0 mana. It doesn’t get pulled out from your deck, so you’re still using up a draw.
Wretched Tiller
I would safely give this 4 damage to the enemy hero when this attacks, and it would still not be threatening. I mean, it’s a frickin’ 1 mana 1/1.
Deathaxe Punisher
Same here. If it was a +4/+4 instead of +2/+2, that might actually be appealing.
As it stands, there really is no reason whatsoever to add this card to ANY deck. There are just way better options.
Skelemancer
Indeed. I view it as a win-more card. Ever had that match when you were winning on board and thinking: “Should I play into my opponent’s boardclear?”
Well, this card can be played into almost any boardclear, and it provides huge recovery. Even if your opponent can board clear + remove the 8/8, it’s still pretty damn good.
Final Form: 7 mana destroy your opponent’s hopes & dreams.
