Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase Suspending Game Services in China On January 23, 2023
This is tragic for the Chinese playerbase, which includes some of our most influential players. But in all honesty, I’m kind of glad that Blizzard will no longer do business in China because of political reasons.
The Chinese government is oppressive and it’s tried to force its propaganda on Blizzard before (Hong Kong tournament interview scandal). I think it’s for the best that Blizzard doesn’t have that government to worry about. I know this is getting political but the Chinese party has a terrible human rights record and I’m not ashamed to point it out, so for that reason, there is a silver lining in not relying economically on them. This could mean that Blizzard has more creative space for certain things.
Ashen Elemental
An anti draw tech? Interesting. Although I don’t know why you would want to run that card instead of your own gameplan, realistically.
Magnifying Glaive
Aggro decks suck and that’s not the way I like to play DH, that’s all
Kryxis the Voracious
Hopefully there’s some kind of additional support for either the draw or discard part. Otherwise this would only be really good in aggro.
Magnifying Glaive
People are overrating this. This is a 3 mana 2/2 weapon whose effect forces you to burn thru your entire hand -> you can’t play big minions or this is a countersynergy.

About the upgrade part it is most certainly only one of the numbers, not both. So you would NOT draw 5, discount (4) but instead draw 2 discount (4). Same with the damage relic; deal (4) damage twice. They would be broken if the number of targets/cards drawn/minions summoned scaled up as well.
Relic of Extinction
This looks to be the worst one yet, in my opinion. The fact this is unable to damage the enemy hero severely undermines its utility in a class that likes to poke damage the enemy hero several times over the course of the game. Demon Hunters have access to better control tools than this, even when you have upgraded it twice it is just decent, and the end game value of a card like “deal 4 damage to two enemy minions” is just too weak and doesn’t warrant deckbuilding around it. It should target two ENEMIES, not just minions. 2/5
Relic of Dimensions
This would be quite good when cast by Xy’mox if you have improved your relics. Say if you have cast two relics already then you get two cards discounted by (3). That’s pretty solid.
Artificer Xy'mox
The other problem is that those designs are bound to not synergise with future cards, and even if they are decent they are likely going to be replaced sooner or later because they only synergise with themselves.
Artificer Xy'mox
They’re probably upgraded, because I think it doesn’t work in a typical way. Any relic you cast would improve your “relic level” or something, which directly affects any relics cast on your side, no matter the source. That’s how it would make more sense either way. However, if he casts three, I don’t know if they each improve the next one in order.
Artificer Xy'mox
It would be, and that’s why I think that’s unfortunate. More importantly, DHs have two reliable ways of tutoring Fel spells, but no way to tutor regular ones. Fel would have made sense for at least one of those Relics. Oh well.
Artificer Xy'mox
These aren’t Fel spells. HOPEFULLY, some Relic generating spell gets printed that is actually Fel.
The Stonewright
Looks okay to me, totems have usually been the smallest and least significant tribe in Hearthstone. However, this has the potential to be very oppressive in a theoretical totem-heavy deck. Stats are okay too, even if the minion itself is nothing to write home about. Plus makes Shaman’s basic Hero Power better in any case. I’d give it a 3/5 on grounds of having significant potential with the right support.
The Stonewright
It’s arguably decent with Shaman’s Hero Power alone. Would probably not warrant inclusion solely on those grounds, but that does power up those little totems significantly.
Necrolord Draka
This doesn’t look that good to me in the run of the mill Rogue deck, but it could be a problem if used as part of a combo. However weapon removal exists. 3/5
This could be insane lol. In a lot of scenarios this is just great. If you pull a cheap Deathrattle minion, this essentially means a free 4/4 when this dies, without any conditions except having some deathrattle in your deck. Pretty wild.
