Secrets Paladin Deck List Guide - April 2016 (Season 25, Wild)
This deck is a great basic starting point but I’ve found the key with net decks is striking a balance between optimization and personalization. Don’t change them at all to suit your play style and you generally won’t have as much success. At least I don’t. Change them TOO much and you break the deck.
So I swapped out two cards and this deck has been working really well for me (climbed into the Top 10) ever since.
I traded one Secret Keeper for a Divine Favor. Too many times I found myself at a loss for cards and Divine Favor helps keep me from losing momentum. Plus, considering you generally want to save secrets for Mysterious Challenger, playing two Secret Keepers seems like overkill.
I also swapped out a Sludge Belcher for a Loatheb. This was painful. I love me some Belcher! But I’ve found that being able to lay down that Loatheb on turn 5, right before you bring out Mysterious Challenger, keeps many opponents from clearing the board. Because, let’s face it, they know what you’re about to do on Turn 6. And even on Turns 7, 8 and 9 Loatheb provides great value.
So that’s what’s working for me. I’m no Hearthstone Pro. Just a guy at the bottom end of the Top 10, trying to work his way up the ladder.
Coghammer and Trion are nice to haves for the Secret Deck. The two Mysterious Challengers are MUST haves. So dust for Challengers.
