“In any situation, this card can kill 2 or more cards…”
In the deal 8 damage scenario, lich king bumps it, for example. That’s like killing -2 cards (lich only takes 3, you spent most of your turn playing a 3/8, meaning lich probably gets 2 death knight cards)
One scenario that you forgot about is your opponent… ignoring it. This guy only has 3 attack you know.
Also, this card gives you no tempo. We’re talking a 7 mana 3/8 here. In other words, as a minion it is complete trash. So we have to look at it as a buff card. Obviously the can’t be targeted is valued a lot here, but that is largely because of the the dangers of taunt with it. Just look at the massively overpriced Soggoth! Taunt – can’t be targeted just destroys some decks, so unless blizzard prints an OP 3 or less cost mech in warrior or neutral, I think it’s safe to say this will see no play, since you are paying about two “fear” mana. Even if Blizzard does, it still wouldn’t be consistent. 1/5 unless printed mechs are COMPLETELY BUSTED.
Ferocious Howl
Looming prescence is a 3 mana draw two gain four armor, and a 3 mana draw three gain six armor in the crazy fights. This draws one. It’s more comparable to a scaling shield bash.
Arcane Keysmith
It also kind of draws you a card though, and the discovery gives you some flexibility.
Arcane Keysmith
Discover always picks something from your class (or neutral). This will get you a mage secret, unless you , say, steal this as a rogue (then you will pick a rogue secret). If you are a priest (or any other class without secrets) and steal this card, you will still discover a mage secret.
Town Crier
Oh and yes i agree it is kind of lame for an epic.
Insanely good, but not that cool.
Town Crier
I’d like it to be more common.
Blizzard please help feed the neighborhood WaffleNiNjA.
But if you’re saying it’s not powerful enough to be an epic, I disagree. I think it is about on-par with kobold librarian (though maybe a little worse), but it will definitely take off if rush is a thing.
