Well, in Wild at least, there’d be that one “Discover a Secret” Murloc, which creates a cheap spell but doesn’t ruin hitting your big stuff. On the other hand, it’s a Murloc, so it weakens Tip the Scales. Then maybe instead go for Spare Parts? So yeah, in general, my idea would be to create cheap spells to be able to cheat the big ones out. If that is a good strategy, I doubt, since you’d be reliant on a single legendary, getting it as early as possible, and not having drawn the big spells yet…
Lorekeeper Polkelt
My favourite: Put it in DH, play it turn 5, draw Skull’dan next turn, and you’re sure to get the 3 mana discount on all draws (though you might draw the second Skull’dan, but a 3 mana: draw 3 isn’t that bad neither, if you can’t get it to Outcast again).
Magehunter
I don’t think Sweep interacts with this as you think. When Magehunter attacks a minion, it silences it. And Magehunter deals damage to the minions next to the ones it attacks, but it still attacks only one minion. What you think of is “When Magehunter damages a minions, Silence it.”
Sinister Deal
Well, there IS the possibilty of getting lucky and have infinite 2 mana 4/4s… This spell should have a 50/50 of letting you discover the “Discover a spell” lackey, which in turn MIGHT give you this spell.
Totally OP, I guess…
Expired Merchant
You can now pretty reliably have only Dinomancer as a discarded minion. Alternatively, you can have more easily target Soulwarden and two other cards as the sole discarded ones. Like, if you have Skull of Manari equipped, first Merchant discarded Soulwarden, second discarded Void Lord, and maybe you also randomly discarded a Shadowflame. Each turn you can now deal 6 to the enemy board while forever filling yours with Voidies.
Fel Lord Betrug
The best thing will be watching all those English streamers playing him for the memey YT videos and pronouncing him wrong. (Betrug is German for Betrayal.) 4/5 stars for that, 2/5 for actual strength of the card.
Catrina Muerte
I remember having played Makeshift Patron Kel, which was a combo of Thaurissan, reducing Kel’Thuzad’s, Reincarnate’s and Anectral Spirit’s Cost, then casting those next turn. You then started to resurrect Kel’s without end, until Twisting Nether… Catrina here can make it happen again – Catrina+Seance is all you need. Now, how to build a Priest without any other minions while also getting Catrina reliably into hand? Hmm…
Disciple of C'Thun
Strictly better in some situations? o.O That’s not what strictly better means… It means it’s just better, simple and plain in any circumstance. What you mean is either generally better or situationally better.
I have a feeling that Spellburst will be similar to Reborn, in the sense that when it’s used up and the minion is then copied, it won’t have Spellburst anymore. But it is possible that Spellburst would trigger after the Germination, but the new copy of Omu, not having been on the battlefield on cast, does not trigger… Guess time will tell.
