Upcoming Rastakhan's Rumble Nerfs (December 19th): Wild Growth, Nourish, Level Up, Saronite Chain Gang and Leeching Poison
How so ? The combo is just straight up impossible to pull out now.

And nerf to tempo shudderwock shaman as well ! Even if the point is to have one massive board-swing turn, having two 6/6s or one 6/6 and a 2/3 (which btw dies to hagatha battlecry) definitely is weaker.
79% Winrate Pirate Rogue
I think you can still play the deck without keleseth, although it’ll be weaker. You can try adding an eviscerate (or two, maybe taking off one backstab). Otherwise just add a nightmare amalgam for more pirate synergies.

Thanks ! I hadn’t thought about amalgams, it could work indeed ! I’ll test it out as well.
Standout Rastakhan's Rumble Decks From Week 1
Man, this is pretty depressing… Do you see any nerf that could really create a new meta ? I mean, here the problem is not that any one deck is too powerful, it’s just the whole new expansion that has a low power level. You can’t nerf ALL the boomsday decks at once, can you ?
Nerfing odd paladin would make kingsbane rogue pretty happy (and I’m not even sure there is much to nerf – they can’t go back with the odd-even mechanic now). As for hunter, I can’t imagine them nerfing Zul’jin since it’s the hero card this expansion.
Really, does anyone see a way we can hope for the meta to freshen up ? Any contender for tier 2 at least among Rastakhan new archetypes ?
Will Rastakhan's Rumble Shake Up the Wild Meta?
So, all in all… this expansion certainly looks much less powerful than its end-of-year predecessors, and possibly even less than the other two expansions of the raven’s year, is that it ?
Rastakhan’s Rumble Big Beast Druid: The Past and Future of the Archetype
Wouldn’t you want to play Hadronox in the last list ? Since most of your beasts have taunt anyway (and Hadronox is a beast itself), a mixed beast/taunt archetype makes sense. It’s true that you don’t run cubes nor witching hours, but Hadronox is still good as one massive board fill in slower matchups. Not a built-around card, but additional value from a single card in a deck that needs it (I think Big Druid did the same ?).
I mean, assuming the deck performs well against aggro, teching in a single card that brings one extra full board in slower matchups might make sense. Also, in those matchups, you probably can afford to hold onto your spreading plague (and summon poisonous spiders out of Malfurion) so as not to dilute your beast pool. And in aggressive matchups, the worst case scenario of Hadronox bringing back 7 1/5s can still be game-winning.
Spirit of the Rhino
If Ziliax is immune, does the divine shield pop when trading into a minion ?
Zul'jin
If you’ve just played 3/4 different secrets, a buffed spellstone and an animal companion, you would get at the same time a very aggresive board and a good defensive wall with the secrets. The tempo swing is massive. I could even see it being played in a subject 9 aggressive hunter, just to get an extra push (though 10 mana might be a bit much for an agressive build – but well, some zoo did play Gul’dan for the exact same reason in the past).
Demon Zoo Warlock Deck List Guide - Boomsday - August 2018
Wouldn’t you want to add at least one Void Ripper ? It’s a demon, it can give a boost on crystallizer vulgar homonculus or nethersoul buster, and it’s probably going to be a nice tech in the meta (I don’t see spreading plague going anywhere).
Dizzl's Legend Overload Shaman - Post Nerf Witchwood
The deck looks super fun to play ! I’m hesitating about crafting the Epics I miss though. Is it competitve on ladder ? Any hint at the winrate, and maybe good/poor match-ups ?
Thanks for the list anyway !
Spiteful Dragon Quest Priest
Anyone tried this out on ladder and have a winrate to share ?
Overload Shaman - Guide included
Isn’t spirit echo + ancestral spirit somehow redundant ? That’s a total of 4 cards which will likely be dead in very agressive matchups, which is probably what this deck struggles against. Also, have you considered adding doomsayer against aggro ?
If you play this on an empty board with no friendly minion to destroy, do you still get the 2 lackeys ? If yes, it’s just an insane turn 2 play !
