Golden packs have different timers than non golden ones, so you just open them.
Scholomance Academy Final Card Reveal Livestream Card List - All Cards From Expansion Revealed - July 29!
At this point i belive that first month of a expansion will be a fustercluck of decks.
Instructor Fireheart
Effect of this card is a battlecry, so has great synergy with Quest.
Also you can discover a ton of cards with Dwarven Archeologist.
In addition to that shaman has access to Lightning Bloom.
This card will play in any deck that would like to discover a spell, and in APM decks build around this card.
Speaker Gidra
Copies wasn’t on battlefield when you casted a spell, so that’s possible outcome, but hearthstone is consistently unconsistent. (also I didn’t think about that part)
Educated Elekk
Also it’s 3 mana beast you will see this card no matter if you play it, or not.
That is a huge card to get from Exotic Mountseller, also it synergises with that turns.
5/5
Educated Elekk
How it looks for all classes:
Druid: A beast that allows you to cast your spells again later, as well as slow down a fatigue.
Shaman: Few additional spells that you will never draw.
Mage: A way to slow down fatigue, and possibility to use your spells twice in highlander.
Rogue: Some value shenanigans.
Warrior: Another way to increase your size of deck, also think of all possible shield bashes.
Paladin: “So what about another heals and buffs?”.
Priest: Another way to increase your size of deck, also think about all of Sethekk Veilweaver turns.
Warlock: “Nobody can stop me from drawing my deck twice!”.
Demon hunter: Another Skull of Guldan sounds nice.
Hunter: It’s a beast.
Also it’s a card that can give you some value, even if you doesn’t do more than play it.
Argent Braggart
So you there are two situations where you play it:
1. You combo it with some libram of hope or other high stats cards.
2. You playing it from behind to get some cheap stats.
Also it’s drawn by Salhet’s Pride.
This card is flexible enough to see play.
Keymaster Alabaster
You pay 7 mana for 6/8 body and a random card from your opponent deck.
Also:
[+] Card you get costs (1).
[+] It’s a card they now have on hand, so you can play around it in later turns.
[+] Can trigger more than once, if your enemy can’t remove it or needs to draw a card.
[?] Also counters Lorekeeper Polkelt.
[?] It has a highroll potencial, for example (1) mana galakrond or plague of death.
[-] Your opponent knows what card you get.
Final rating: Fun and Interactive 5/5.
Playable in any non-aggro deck, if there is a control deck in the meta.
Turalyon, the Tenured
To not repeat everyone else, 8 mana destroy a minion for a paladin that lefts a minion (that good enough for non-aggro deck) with possibility to do it again in following turns, that also has great synegy with heals.
5/5 in libram deck for me.
Only real downside is that card is terrible at killing lackey’s or other minions weaker than 3/3, but you have other cards to do that.
Vectus
Only way to copy a battlecry related deathrattle is by coping with a card like: Faceless Manipulator; or by cards like Unearthed Raptor or Mok’Nathal Lion.
Also you can create weird deathrattle effects using a Shudderwock and Da Undatakah.
Pen Flinger
This isn’t a lazy design. Lazy design whould be giving a class OP card to increase it’s win rate for example: 4 mana 7/7 which happened during your Old Gods; also in Karazan druid get 1 mana 2/2 BEAST while having Mark of Y’Shaarj, so please don’t tell me that in that time there wasn’t any “BS stat cards”.
Frazzled Freshman is 1 mana 1/4 which is killable by 2/2 which is neutral 1 drop, also Soulbound Ashtongue is another 1 mana 1/4 that exist.
Nobody talks about ability to buff a minion because nearly all cards can be buffed.
In addition to that as Thraben said power creep exist.
Vectus
All battlecry related deathrattle cards are coded in the same way, so it wouldn’t work. They seek they effect in buffs, which aren’t copied by gain deathrattle effects, if I remember correctly.

It’s me or mechanics of this expansion could stick up for longer?
I mean spellburst is good effect like battlecry or deathrattle, and dual class cards are nice to increase amount of cards after rotation or introducing new class, without having to get more cards in packs.
Cycle of Hatred
Great card, has great synergy with Mo’arg Artificer, only requirement is playing a deck other than aggro.
Doctor Krastinov
I see that often you comment about that you think weapons are unhealthy but consider this: running a weapon removal, taunts, heals/armor; also remember every balanced deck has a weakness in form of other deck so if you hate weapons make a deck that counters them.
Remember all that matters is your fun.
Pen Flinger
Every card has a reason to be printed.
For example Frazzled Freshman was created to: Push tempo priest, by giving him more good minions to buff, and making a galakrond pool weaker.
This card has anti-synergy with spells, you cannon buff it for example, so it isn’t a strict buff it’s a sidegrade, also by design expansion cards are better than basic or classic cards.

Total amount of legendaries should stay the same, but dual class mechanic means that is cheaper to create decks for classes that overlap, also in theory each class gets access to 4 aditional cards.
Cast when drawn effects do not count as casting a spell (they kinda cast themself), but if you somehow get one in your hand and play it, then it counts as one.
