All You Need to Know About Kazakusan: The Best Kazakusan Treasures Tier List
Kazakusan ruined the meta; even if the deck is not a T1 in fact this is because there’s a lot of Aggro to keep it in check but any other slow/combo strategy strategy can’t deal with the BROKEN treasures.
Druidstone took over 1/3 of the field and when you face a Druid don’t know what to keep because Beast Aggro Ramp are all sooo strong; when you see Overgroth into Guff over and over again is insta concede…
Power creep is a serious problem for the game itself, game designers should consider it carefully because playes wants a balanced game experience and play ANY of the other classes with a minimum chance of winning 50% of the games.
And if you were unlucky opening packs and don’t have Guff, you disechant an absurd number of cards to craft gim and weeks later you see a nerf that ruins all your collection and even worse an indirect nerf to an archetype and you don’t get a decent dust refund!!
Certain cards should be banned for Standard, in ex. Lightning Bloom into Wildpaw Caverns on the Coin (I won a lot of games on T1, and hit legend this season with Burn Shaman with this absurd play).
I’m affraid that Kaza won’t be nerfed so until April Druidstone can only grow in popularity…
Top Standard & Wild Legend Decks - Fractured in Alterac Valley Week 11 - February 2022
Kazakusan could be an OK card if worked as a late game value in a Control shell but Druid can ABUSE of it and play as early as turn 5/6 and at that stage is GG. A nerf to 10-mana closes the door to other clases like Priest/Warrior to test the card while Druid could still use util rotation (hope no more RAMP next year!!)
Aggro Druid - #33 Legend (HATIKQ) - Onyxia's Lair
I know this lists should exit to keep Kazakusan in check but Trogg on T1 is sooo annnnoyinnggg..
Kazakusan Druid - #90 Legend (AttilaLeHun) - Onyxia's Lair
Ironbark to protect your dragón, but the deck is inconsistent even if you play it on T6… Streamers say this is OP?
Dragon Priest - Kibler - Onyxia's Lair
Nice deck, I’ll give it a try including the Neutral Onyxian Warder
Hearthstone Onyxia's Lair Card Reveals - Reveal Schedule, Full List of Cards From The Alterac Valley Mini-Set
Looking at the cards and current meta decks, clear winner is Hunter (Face and Quest) almost no new archetypes, maybe a Dragon Priest, Dragon Control Warrior with late game value, but the mini-set itself feels poor for “de-xperiment”. Let’s see if there’s any real impact to the meta.. Aggro will farm A LOT first days after lauch.
Gear Grubber
Interesting effect but today’s meta os high tempo initiative you NEED to fill your mana curve efficiently first turns, maybe this card could help in some cases your starting hand is bad or unplayable..
Drakefire Amulet
Almost no good dragons with end of turn effect, remember DQ Alex? For 8 mana you had 2 0 mana dragons with a good battlecry or effect… You need to cheat out this card somehow to be goood
Mi'da, Pure Light
This card is scary only in slow matchups, against aggro you can die right after playing this.. Silence is also a good tech choice if this see play..
Kazakusan
I’m not sure about this card, the effect is the coolest ever but I feel this is very slow, any aggro will demolish you if you play this 8 mana “do nothing” should be really ahead. Then you have the Dragon deck restrintions… We’ll see..
Deep Breath
No minion mage will rotate soon, you need a Control deck with your hand full of spells, for 5 mana not too efficient removal
Lightmaw Netherdrake
Situational card and hard to activate on T4 where you need to play this card.. let’s see..
History of Class And Archetype Popularity Since Whispers Of The Old Gods (Official Data)
Love this data; I see that Warlock isn’t as popular as I thoght and in the other side Rogue is overplayed IMO.
Water Moccasin
Miracle Rogue can’t play it and other slower archetypes doen’t exist at this moment maybe in next expansions..
Whetstone Hatchet
This card is pretty nice in Rush Hand Buff Warrior, You have 4 charges!
Kazakusan: This is not a nerf, only small adjustment, the only viable class to play it is Druid right now. Removing Locust might extend a little bit the mirror matchup. Next Standard Year maybe Guff won’t have turbo ramp tools, let’s see.
SI:7: Quest Rogue is a fun deck, and less polarizing than Ramp Druid, will remain strong until rotation.
