Galakrond's Awakening Chapter 3 Preview - Air Battle Over Dragonblight - New Cards, Decks / Strategies, Bosses
Once again Mecha’Thun Warlock can be used to defeat basically every encounter. I didn’t try to use it for the dragons as I figured it might not last long enough and the win condition would be pointless so I used a wild Reno paladin for that encounter. Kind of boring to just keep using the same deck for every boss but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it they always say.
Galakrond’s Awakening Heroic Guide – Chapter 2 (Clash at Wyrmrest)
I used Mecha’thun against Lazul and it just bypassed the 2nd stage and killed her. I’m not sure if that is intended or not but just thought I’d point it out.
Elemental Cyclone Mage - Ike - Galakrond's W1
I replaced the 2 bonfire elementals with mana giants and so far it seems to be working great! I just hold onto a spellwing until I know for sure I’ll have an elemental to trigger the avalanche.
Elemental Cyclone Mage - Ike - Galakrond's W1
Is it really better to use the animated avalanche than mana giants? Maybe 1 mana giant instead of Siamat? I find the 0-2 mana giants are really good cheap conjurer’s targets and they’re easy to combo with Khadgar from a wiped board to suddenly have 2 tiron fordrings and 2 deathwing mad aspects.:P
Walking Fountain
16 health swing because you deal 8 damage to the enemy possibly and it has lifesteal so you gain 8 health. 8+8 is 16 I believe.
Wild Mech Hunter - Blizzard's Off-Meta Report (January 2019)
This deck looks like it has no draw and would die easily to anything at first glance but with good mulligans and an aggressive playstyle I was surprised how well it worked. Thanks to using 2 man per turn to smorc with your hero power your hand never actually runs dry and the magnetic nature of most of the mechs help ensure you maintain board presence without having to go too wide against certain opponents.
Rdu's Rastakhan Aggro Pirate Kingsbane Rogue
He is extremely important. He gives your kingsbane 1 extra hit which = extra health and damage throughout your entire game. You can try just adding another +attack minion for your kingsbane but nothing really makes up for the added durability.
Archmage Arugal
Baron Geddon will probably see soo much crafting in the first month or so! Pyros will be amazing for a year (either waste your Spell breaker you put in your deck to tech against locks on a 2/2 or wait until it is 6/6) but everybody who doesn’t have Geddon will have to craft him since he is classic and will never rotate. No matter what Blizzard is ensuring if you want to play Mage you will likely need at least 1 legendary (even if that legendary is Arugal).
Archmage Arugal
Wow, they sure are pushing Frost Lich and elemental mage it seems. A midrange mage could be decent given how much value the mage DK has. You can still afford some removal spells in your deck and can go hard on the elementals. At least for a year Pyros and servant of kalimos and blazecaller will be around. Plus Blizzard makes money/ dust out of everybody buying/crafting frost lich and pyros and arugal.
Silver Hand (Dude) Paladin Deck List Guide (Post Nerf) - Kobolds - April 2018
Perfect counter to spiteful decks. They don’t typically run spells with low health AoE damage as those spells typically cost between 3-6 mana. They drop their summoner turn 6 and you drop Tarim, level up, light forged, knife + call and you are right back in and they have a board to answer rather than your face. If they do go face you get an extra turn to draw any of those cards. Biggest advice I can give is to ALWAYS hold 1 or 2 cards back unless you have *perfect* synergy or lethal. Zoo lock is tough and secret mage is probably about 60/40 in your favour. Murloc pal is one of those 50/50 who gets call first and who draws better. Everybody who is “stuck” this season should try this deck imo.
TicTac's Legend Post-Nerf N'Zoth Control Paladin (February 2018)
Lich King for Ysera can be decent although he has more garbage cards that clog your hand and can lead to cards being burned if you face any type of mill. This deck relies on every card. Also Ysera has dream which can sap an enemy to allow you to get lethal with one of your 5 atk weps or can return your own N’Zoth/ Zola, etc. Armour can be an asset but I’d say the card draw from Harrison is probably better especially since you have 2 beetles and Nzoth plus the 5 armour from DK, so gluttonous is good as a replacement but def not ideal. And wickerflame is able to withstand damage AoE clears so in that sense he replaces Cairne fine but he is much less pressure for the opponent and his shield is easy to pop and then he is a 2/2 so pretty removable. As a previous commentor said, Paladin isn’t cheap and I am not trying to dump on your replacements, I just wanted to reply and give you insight as to why the 3 cards you replaced probably shouldn’t be in an ideal world and explain the differences you should expect with each. Cheers and happy laddering! (I am just a random dude who plays a lot of pally so take my advice with a grain of salt.)
N'zoth Recruit Taunt Deathrattle Druid Kobolds Deck
Branching paths works as a better more flexible mark of the lotus lol, forget I said anything! Wish these types of sites had the option to delete a comment.=/
N'zoth Recruit Taunt Deathrattle Druid Kobolds Deck
From my experience (been trying every Haddro druid deck on any site I can find and tried making one or two of my own) you need at least 1 mark of the lotus or jade idol or something to give you a win condition. Because as awesome as it is to summon taunt after taunt it feels like a lot of the time your damage output isn’t good enough for lethal and your opponent will win in fatigue if control or through just removing your board/ killing you if aggro otherwise.
Ironwood Golem
Now that the new spell is out this card seems pretty decent in a taunt aggro deck with Hadro to refill the board late and N’Zoth maybe? I don’t know but it definitely seems playable now.
I am by no means an expert but never keep twin slice in your mulligan, only use one before the combo if you need to get to an outcast card to draw combo pieces, try to save Altruis for the combo turn as with twin slice he gives you extra damage to make up for anything you might be missing and always try to have metamorphosis set up. It sucks because it is very hard to win before turn 10 but by turn 10 you’ll likely have all of those things set up and can afford the 1 mana for hero power for 5 damage plus 3 mana for Altruis plus 6 for kael. Obviously you can get lucky and hit any of those or another spell with skull to get another 0 cost spell. Don’t be afraid to throw cards away even if it isn’t ideal to clear room in your hand for skull draws or to make your outcast cards draw more. And use the aldratchi more for lifesteal than for an extra 2 damage with the combo if you need to. I pretty much only use chaos strike as a draw as well even though technically with kael and no altruis it can help with a OTK. Hope that helps, the deck is very fun and the more you play the less greedy you will get with the deck to survive for a big turn!
