Hearthstone Progression System Guide - How to Earn XP, Rewards Track Leveling Up, Is Tavern Pass Worth It? (Patch 19.2 Update)
Assuming you want to get to Level 50 by end of expansion, here are some XP “checkpoints” along the way:
25% – Level 23
50% – Level 34
75% – Level 41
So assuming 4 months between expansions, you want to get to level 23 by the end of first month, and so on, if you want to get to at least level 50 at a somewhat constant rate.
My Take On The New Progression System / Battle Pass - How Bad it Really Is, How To Fix It + A Few Words About Dev / Streamer Harassment
This is very well put especially the bit about conflicting rewards (needing to play more, not wanting to). Suffice to say Blizzard has made a big blunder on this reward system. It could’ve been so easily avoided.

Yes they are,… I don’t know if you’re trolling or what
17.2.1 Balance Update Coming May 18 - 8 Card Nerfs (Priestess of Fury, Hanar, Bloodboil Brute) + 4 Buffs (Shaman & Paladin)
I would say it’s nearly impossible. They very rarely buff cards, and when they do it’ll be newer cards or a revert of a very old nerf.
I guess blizz made CtA, saw that it was kinda-weak-but-ok, and wanted a new similar card. But when they finally made it for Hunter, they overtuned it.

I think he meant “why *did they make* Scavenger’s Ingenuity so much better than Call to Adventure”.
I think the fact that it *is* so much better, is pretty obvious.

Can this be right? After the debacle that was AoO launch, all 10 classes are now actually represented in tier 1 & 2?

Nerf Patch Early Next Week - Battlefiend, Altruis, Glaivebound Adept, Kael'Thas, Bad Luck Albatross, Frenzied Felwing, Sac Pact, Open the Waygate and Bloodbloom
Maybe they’ll change it to only hit minions

Hahah that’s what I thought too at first glance
Potential Nerfs to Demon Hunter, Sacrificial Pact, Bad Luck Albatross, Frenzied Felwing, Kael'thas Sunstrider, Quest Mage & Darkest Hour Warlock
What happened to Shaman was truly disappointing. Way too overpowering on release followed by overbearingly crippling nerfs. It’s like they messed up twice! If it happens again to DH it’ll solidify this pattern.

Still, I’d love to see more buffs every now and then instead of nerfs nerfs nerfs all the time. If cards can be nerfed for overperforming compared to expectations, I think it should warrant buffs to underperforming cards too.

I agree! That said, it would still do its main job even if it was a 3/3

^ this. Tempo DH can be quite cheap with the free new cards.
Also Aggro Dragon Hunter is unchanged from last expansion and reasonably cheap (provided you have Rotnest Drake).
Or is there a particular class you want a budget deck for?
(UPDATE: LIVE NOW!) Demon Hunter Nerfs - Skull of Gul'dan, Imprisoned Antaen, Eye Beam and Aldrachi Warblades
Turn 5 Antaen –> Turn 7 Priestess was nuts. DH has explosive early game so opponent would struggle to slowly get on board in the middle turns. And then once they’ve done that suddenly they’d lose everything and be staring down a 10/6 and a 6/7 mini-Rag. This if DH didn’t drawn Skull of Guldan and burst them down with the extra resources.
This very fast nerf is a great response from Blizz. As it stands DH is still pretty strong but everything feels a little bit more fair. Good picks on the cards to nerf too. I don’t think they overnerfed it this time as they often do. Or rather they probably overtuned the suspect cards way too much before release. As mentioned below one has to wonder what the play-testing process was like wrt DH.

When Warcraft 3 came out half a lifetime ago I thought Illidan was a pretty cool guy.
Now he just seems like the biggest edgelord 😛

I was rank 8 last season and have Star x10 at the moment.
In Wild I was rank 15 (I think, not 100% sure) and have Star x8 there.
