Descent of Dragons Balance Changes - Shaman Nerfs Coming Next Week!
If the rushing elemental were 1/1, galakrond would be too weak, it would pretty much be a worse warlock, so they will not affect galakrond himself. They also probably won’t change the quests hero power, but instead, make it harder to complete the quest (e.g. summon 7 battlecry minions). Dragons pack and corrupt elementalist I agree with, but instead of overload 2 for dragons pack, it should be overload 1. Faceless corruptor will probably become EXTREMELY nerfed, so it will become a 7 mana or so. I also think dragonmoor poacher will become gain +2/2 instead of +4/4.
Galakrond, the Tempest
But another problem is that you would have to also put in battlecry cards as well, the point of the quest is to finish it about at turn 6/7, so if you also put invoke cards it could also cause problems.
Galakrond, the Tempest
Remember though, you will lose your battlecry hero power once you play Galakrond, as it will be replaced by “summon a 2/1 with rush”
Galakrond, the Tempest
Interesting card. I really like it. The storms are a good way of dealing with your opponents board in the early and late game. But might struggle with play against battlecry shaman (you could do both but in my opinion this seems more like a control card).
Easy to invoke due to the 5/5 invoke twice, so it being fully upgraded wont be a problem, honestly seems like a really good card that MIGHT bring back control shaman (I hope it does)
Also awesome combo, heart of vir’nal then play galakrond, thats 4 8/8’s! The value is insane but pretty hard to pull off. However, once you play galakrond you lose your original hero power, so that might not work as well.
Versatile and a good card. 5/5

By “just just generally good”, I mean that no matter what circumstance, it’s a good card. There is also onyxia, Ysera, ect.

Alright I have done the math, there are currently 155 minion legendaries in standard. The chance of getting a “just generally good” legendary (e.g. Al’Akir, Emeriss) is 40 out of 155, this is already about 26%, so one in every 4 legendaries is good. I have also rated cards as “good in certain circumstances” (e.g. Brann, Sir Finley) is a whopping 52%, so, you have an EXTREMELY good chance of getting a moderate to good legendary. The reason why people think this will be bad is because of cards like Shifter Zerus. Shifter Zerus had WAY too many cards to turn into. This seems like Blizzard trying to make up for their mistake, and honestly, it seems really good. I think we should give it a chance.
Or they just like playing shaman, I have been playing shaman for ages and love it. I agree its too op atm, but that won’t change my view on it. I’m still playing control galakrond because I enjoy it.
