Colossus of the Moon
I guess it leaves a 10/1 after you betrug/plot twist it out, but I don’t think you want a 10 mana 10/10 that does nothing when it comes down in warlock especially that late in the game. I guess you could draw it with the quest reward and get a 0 mana 10/10 divine shield reborn, but that’s just talking about every big statted minion.
Plague of Wrath
At this point in the current tournament format warrior players are going to be able to play 3 versions of the deck with 15 completely different control tools between them
Splitting Axe
I guess the point of this is EVIL Totem and the quest reward. When you play this after using the hero power you can get 3 lackeys that turn. Downside: It’s only a 3/2 weapon for 4.
Mogu Cultist
Do a Tak + Cultist + Scheme on this card and then when you bring out all 7 of them you can play second scheme on the big boy, filling your deck with a whole bunch of 20 damage AoE. I am theory crafting the hell out of this right now.
Wild Bloodstinger
In this case, I think it was only to save space on the card. Dirty Rat and Hecklebot say “Your opponent summons” because they do literally nothing else besides Taunt. This card attacks them
Desert Obelisk
Aviana -> Coin -> Kun -> Obelisk -> Faceless -> Faceless -> Drakkari enchanter is 30 damage, or Aviana -> Coin -> Kun -> Obelisk -> Cube -> Faceless -> Naturalize -> Naturalize -> Drakkari enchanter is 40
Plague of Madness
Pretty good. Cheap spell that can be used to activate Combo easily, and you can use it with Harrison or other weapon destruction to get a 2 card 3 mana destroy 2 minions over 2 turns take their attack damage summon a 3/2, or 2 card 5 mana 5/4 draw 2 cards destroy 2. Seems VERY good and potent.
Raid the Sky Temple
Easy for a mage to activate this for an ~1 mana value hero power. This is way weaker than the other quests revealed so far.
Weaponized Wasp
Kind of clunky. If you’re playing quest, you can’t get this out until turn 4 at the earliest, as all Lackey-generators either cost 2 overall mana or come out even later than that. But in the late game, this gives a lot of value to the hero power. You can HP- Lifedrinker-Kobold Lackey-This for 10 mana and 16 face damage. And you can potentially do this twice later! This is pretty good but it’s worse than Medivh’s Valet by just a little bit.
BEEEES!!!
well if the bees kill the target minion it’ll give you an extra mana. But it’s still pretty bad
Untapped Potential
People saying “skipping turns” but you only need to have *any* unspent mana. Playing a 1 drop turn 2. A 2 drop turn 3, etc. This is POWERFUL. For just 4 mana you get a permanent Fandral effect, which is nice for stuff like Wrath, Nourish, and Mark of the Loa. This curves pretty well into Nourish, too- T1 quest, spend 1 less mana turns 2-5, then turn 6 ramp for 2, draw 3 cards. Now you have 9 mana, ~cards in hand, and perma-fandral. Now you just play Token Druid for the rest of the game with better choose ones
Plague of Death
This counters Mech Pallies that get a bunch of magnetics down and don’t have Kangor’s Endless Army before turn 9. Otherwise its pretty bad but it’s another clear for wild I guess
EVIL Genius
inb4 some sort of egg-like card that adds a bunch of lackeys to your hand so Zoolock becomes even more of a token deck
Upcoming Expansion Teaser - "The Fortune Teller"
Tarot deck cards maybe? Like Balance, Death, Strength, or The World? Maybe a mechanic that’ll show you 1 of your opponent’s upcoming cards, or show your opponent one of yours for profit.
Best case is actually that you play Blink Fox turn 5 and then you have enough mana to equip.
