Combo Priest Deck List Guide - Witchwood - July 2018
I am one hundred percent convinced this deck is horrible because you are a fairly good player (not doubting that one bit, no sir!). No need to explain or elaborate further on why, in your opinion, this deck is so horrible. Leave that to those wussy bad players! Puh!
Thank you, fairly good player, for your great and meaningful advice!
Best Hearthstone Decks - Standard Meta Tier List - The Great Dark Beyond (November 2024)
Yes, but I think that is mostly it meant the end of the worst meta ever, ONiK. That said, Un’Goro was A LOT better than this autopilot-deckfest where Keleseth, Scalebane and Bonemare on curve win far more games than actual skill ever would.
Kolento's Un'Goro Elemental Buff Paladin (April 2017, Season 37)
First off, your assumption that Ragnaros, Lightlord will rotate out next *expansion* in 4-ish months is wrong. He’ll exit standard format at the next standard rotation, but that won’t be for another year. No cards will leave standard before the Year of the Mammoth ends.
I don’t believe Tarim has a place in *this* handbuffing deck, as he most likely will end up lowering the stats on handbuffed minions. I also would not see how Vinecleaver and LitJ would fit this handbuff deck.
If you want to use your Tarim and Vinecleaver in a deck, I’d recommend trying a midrange paladin deck. I think you can build it around an elemental shell (see additional tips below). It’s probably not as good as a ‘proper’ midrange/control paladin, but I understand you don’t want to commit (yet) to Tirion, Ragnaros and, potentially, Wickerflame.
If, on the other hand, you *do* want to try Kolento’s elemental handbuff paladin deck as described here, but not having Wickerflame is holding you back, you could sub him with a Stonehill Defender; he provides taunt as well as giving you the option to discover another useful taunt. Another option is Mistress of Mixtures if you prefer the heal.
Additional note: if you go for an elemental midrange build, Hydrologist and Golakka Crawler make for useful draws from the Curator (assuming you have Karazhan), and Blazecallers may work fine instead of Tirion and Ragnaros. Also, you have a decent chance of discovering Ragnaros, Lightlord from Servant of Kalimos.
This is a bit of theorycrafting on my part though, so don’t spend resources on it if you don’t have them already, but it might be fun to try.
I would never do that, because I think Sonya has some of the best card art in Hearthstone, ever. She has spots in versions of Tempo Rogue and isn’t bad in Quest Rogue, either.
That said, if you don’t care about Sonya and have a legendary you’d rather craft now, then go ahead.
