Matff's #9 Legend Witchwood Miracle Rogue ft. Hench-Clan Thug
Leeroy Jnkins is your main win condition. He ends your game in right time and Shadowstep is most commonly used to replay Leeroy, unless you don’t need help early game to recast Agent or Strider. I think you don’t need 2nd Shadowstep if you don’t play Jenkins. But don’t craft him. Try to use Southsea Deckhand or Wolfrider. If you just start with Miracle Rogue, go with Wolfrider, but don’t waste him just to hit face early game. He has 3 attack lower than Leeroy, but also costs 2 mana less, it’s an okey deal.
I don’t recommend Reckless Rocketeer. Argent Commander is a much better card. 1 less attack, but he helps against aggro.
Keep in mind that Miracle Rogue is one of the hardest deck in game and you will need a lot of practice. Sometimes one bad decision or you just face a specific deck and you just can’t win. Probably you will stop playing with the deck after meeting some braindead, very powerful and popular meta decks, because you will notice how hopeless and frustrating some moments are. Game and card desing just won’t let you do much.
If you are new to this deck, first thing you should learn is when to trade and when to go face, because deck has limited damage pool. Against aggro you can’t win just defend yourself, learn when to start push face damage and win race with your opponent. Against control – making value trades all the time is not also a good idea, because if you don’t close the game soon enough, sooner or later your deck will run out of damage and you will get dominated.
Good luck 🙂
Standout Witchwood Meta Decks From the First Day
I can see Face Collector on some pro player’s decklists, but I haven’t seen any stream yet. Did you test him? It seems similar to Shaku, but I like Shaku more. One health and stealth feel more useful than board and hand filling ability and i guess 9 mana or even 6 mana echo play is not so common. Anyway Shaku is gone and Face Collector for sure supports a bit Tess, sometimes, but is it necessary. Hallucination and new fox package just to feed Tess seems very cool. Cards are good by itself and you don’t rely on Tess that much. playing only 4 burgle cards. Your opinion can save me some dust. Greetings from Poland 🙂
Miracle Rogue Deck List Guide - Boomsday - August 2018
And Shiv can be use as a single target 1 damage Jaina’s ping. Sometimes Thalnos just stucks in hand waiting for spells. Then you probably play him anyway for cycle without getting any spell boost effects.

Sure, my pleasure. I can also add that Shiv draws a card Intantly, but Thalnos has deathrattle effect.

The best replacement for Thalnos, if you want similar effect, is, in my opinion, Shiv. People always say Kobolt Geomancer or Loot Hoarder, but don’t trust them. These as a separate cards are just not good enough.
If you look at Shiv in practice, it doesn’t look stupid:
Thalnos + Backstab = 3 damage / Backstab + Shiv = 3 damage
Thalnos + Eviscerate = 5 damage / Shiv + Eviscerate = 5 damage
Of course every card has its cons and pros.
Cons:
– Shiv doesn’t work well with Fan of Kvines, because you lose aoe damage boost, but it’s still 5 mana mini swipe.
– You can only boost one damage spell.
– Thalnos is still a 1/1 body.
Pros:
– Shiv could be cycle with Auctioneer.
– It discounts Arcane Giants cost.
– Thalnos can be steal with Potion of Madness.
– Shiv + Si7 = 3 damage
– You can combine it with Preparation.
– Thalnos costs 1600 of dust, Shiv is free.
You can always put something quite different. 2nd sap against taunt minions, helping with tempo match-ups as well. Maybe Tar Creeper or Earthen Ring Farseer versus early aggression. With Valeera The Hollow you can heal yourself for 6, maybe could be enough to win some burn games. Betrayal some Jade Golems? I don’t know 🙂 Try by yourself some cards, maybe some fits well with your playstyle or helps in match-up you don’t like. It’s just one card, you don’t change deck in general.
Gcttirth's Un'Goro Dragon Priest (April 2017, Season 37)
Dear Evident. Can you add to Featured Image option in deck creation an Amara, Warden of Hope art. Or maybe I just missed her from the list.
Amaz's Miracle Priest (April 2017, Season 37)
Miracle Rogue bases on a single turn when you can draw a lot of cards from your deck using Gadgetzan Auctioneer and casting spells. It’s a miracle turn. And now that theme also fits for Priest, because you can generate cards thanks to Lyra the Sunshard in similar way to rogue.
Hello. I would like to share with you guys my ideas about some changes as well 🙂
Guldan:
First we leave Possessed Lackey unchanged. Warlock has his new card Dark Possession and this card is not great, but if we delete self minion kill from Dark Pact, people will run it just to kill Lackey, so we change Dark Pact: 1 mana, discard a random card, restore 10 health to your hero. Power level of armor up effect in game is insane, so I think 10 health is fine. With Dark Pact like this one, you heal early and take a risk of discarding a key card from your hand or you wait, saving wanted cards, but unhealed. Maybe even a control Cruel Dinomancer, Clutchmother Zavas, Blood Qeen deck could be a thing this way.
Kobolt Libriaria – just make it a 1/1 demon 😀 It’s so funny. 2/2 Lackey into 1/1 Kobolt. No to DK Guldan, yes to Jaraxxus. Still the best card in game but now you can’t play it in every deck. More cards in hearthstone should be like that.
I like Voilord. Cards for 9 mana should be good. Like Obsidian Statue. You know what you have payed for.
I like also the idea above with changing Doomguard’s charge to rush, but if so, Doomguard needs 9 health instead, because he needs great trades. Opponent loses a minion you did attack with Doomguard and you lose a random card. We discarded 2 cards, so enemy player needs to add a 2nd card to deal with Doomguard. It’s a cool trade.
DK Guldan card is so stupid and boring. Both battlecry and hero power. I like the idea of Stonekeep that DK Guldan only summons demons that you have played this game, so you need to think twice. You cheat early with Lackey or Man’ari Skull, so you lose power in late game. Hero Power: “Discover and play a card you have discarded this game.” It’s so cool. You take DK Guldan in Cubelock just to ress your minions and with my new Dark Pact and Doomguards hero power is still viable. Or you can make a cool control Discardlock, probably loosing some power of battlecry. But that’s super cool. One card that fits in two archetypes, giving something here, loosing something there.
Paladin:
Call to Arms 5 mana change is great. Sunkeeper Tarim should be 2/5 and sets others to 2/2, because most of the time they just go face with everything and you will realize it’s over, because your minions on board become useless and if you don’t have a spell in your hand, you will lose in a moment after second face wave. You will not include Sunkeeper in every deck after change like that, won’t you? But still he will be a very good and playable card.
Rogue:
After my 1st game ever against Quest Rogue, when I lose with my Priest, I took Mass Dispel and came back just to silence some 5/5 minions. I’m still wondering why it doesn’t work. A buff, green numbers. Why can’t I silence them. Why if they bounce 5/5 to hand, it’s still 5/5. No other things in hearthstone work like that.
And that’s the real solution! 🙂
