Analyzing The Upcoming Balance Changes - How Will They Affect The Meta?
Good time to be a Murloc paladin player I guess.
I really hope you’re right that some sort of control Warrior becomes viable, that’s really what I want to work toward building next.

Been playing solely this (with Liam swapped out for Acid Swamp Ooze, as suggested) and Murloc Paladin from rank 25 to 15 so far. Murloc seems a bit stronger (or is just easier to play), but this has still been doing pretty well for me and is a lot of fun!

I think it’s the 1 health. You’re basically paying 2 mana to do two damage most of the time because it’s getting killed the turn after you play it. That’s not bad but there are better ways to spend 2 mana.
It also doesn’t synergize with other murlocs the way most of the murlocs people run do.

I’ve managed to climb from 25 to 17 with Primalfin in there, which I know isn’t a huge feat but it’s worked for me so far. We’ll see how it does at higher levels, but I can’t see it impacting performance too much. You lose a bit value for your 3-drop but gain more chances to make Murloc synergies happen.

I put in Primalfin Lookout instead of Nightmare Amalgam, mostly because I don’t think Nightmare Amalgam is worth it, but in practice it tends to mean I have more Murlocs on the board. You could easily replace a non-Murloc slot with two Lookouts and it’s like you put four extra Murlocs in your deck.
I’m sure some other cards could get replaced as well, though I’d keep vinecleaver because of how well it works with Tarim and because it helps you rebuild a board in the later game.
The meta seems to have mostly settled into Duskbreaker priests and Mana Wyrm/Black Cat + Arcane Missiles. Was wondering why I wasn’t seeing more paladins until I tried Call to Arms + Knife Juggler, went up against Dusbreakers, and was out of Knife Jugglers by like turn 7.
