Tempo Healadin - Rastakhan's Rumble
This deck focuses on gaining tempo through cards like: “Pearl Spellstone” and “Zandalari Templar”, as well as gaining health. One of the key components of this deck is that you have to take damage by turn 3 so that your healing cards can work and you can start to gain momentum.
I included “Mojomaster Zihi” in this deck because this deck really shines in the early game where it easier to gain tempo (i.e. you can get an 8/8 taunt for 4 mana, or a 6/6 taunt for 2 mana, and your opponent cannot). So realistically you want to play Mojomaster by turn 7 or 8, so that your opponent cannot get those big drops on the board.
Update: I included “Zola the Gorgon” over a 2nd “Chillblade Champion” because there were alot of nasty combos that you can do with Zola like a 2nd Thekal or Sunkeeper Tarim
Mojomaster Zihi
This is honestly an amazing card. This sets the win conditions for decks like Healadin and other control decks, because they cannot do anything really in the late game, this card re-sets the mana count, which allows control and tempo decks to gain value without huge amounts of mana in the late game
Mech Paladin Deck List Guide (Kangor's Endless Army) - Boomsday - August 2018
Won’t Stone hill defender and Sunkeeper Tarim no longer be standard? Ungoru is rotating out of standard play
Legendary Substitutions:
Crystalsmith Klangor – Klangor is really important in this deck, as he synergies with every single lifegain card in the deck, so I would craft him if possible, if not, then I would probably add a second chillblade champion or Crystology
High Priest Thekal – Again, Thekal is important to this deck, so there arent really any substitutions that you can make for him. If you absolutely had to, then I would say that one crappy 3/5 that does 5 damage to your hero
The Glass Knight – This legendary is not as important as other legendaries in this deck, but it synergies well with all of the life gain cards in the deck, If you don’t have him, I would substitute in another chill blade champion or even a lightwarden if you wanted to go more aggro
Sunkeeper Tarim – Tarim is one of the more important legendaries in this deck, because it is one of your only ways to deal with big threats your opponents put on the board late game (that’s what Mojomaster is for as well). If you don’t have Tarim, and don’t want to craft him because hes about to rotate out of standard, then I would add in a dark conviction or some other form of removal (not equality)
Uther of the Ebon Blade – Uther is not one of the more important legendaries in this deck, if you don’t have him I might add in a lightwarden for more aggro, or some form of big removal (not equality)
Zola the Gorgon – Zola is another one of those legendaries that arent as important as other legendaries in this deck, she is basically used for a 2nd Tarim or Thekal. For a sub, I would put in a 2nd chillblade or a lightwarden
Zillax – 2nd Chillblade, not as effective, but it would do the job
Mojomaster Zihi – This one is actually a little more important than you might think. Mojomaster makes it so that your opponents cannot reach 7-10 mana, and cant play big threats on the board that you cant deal with. You gain a lot more tempo in the early part of the game than your opponent. I would recommend crafting him, but if you cant, maybe try adding some lightwardens so that you have a more aggro version of this deck, and the game wont reach late-game regardless
