Mutanus the Devourer
Also Shaman still has Scargil in wild, so this could be played on turn 5 for a lot of stats.
Mutanus the Devourer
Possible combo with Southsea Scoundrel? It isn’t a guarantee, but it increases the likelihood that you will eat the minion you want.
Scabbs Cutterbutter
I think this is supposed to be a 3 mana 2/2, not a 3/3 (at least that’s what the email from Blizzard said).
Blademaster Samuro
This will likely see play in a midrange warrior deck, which can easily increase the attack with Stage Dive, Parade Leader, and Inner Rage. On turn 4 especially, 3 damage to all enemy minions can be devastating against aggro or tempo decks.
Horrendous Growth
Mana Giant is useful largely because of its high mana cost, which allows you to combo it with Conjurer’s Calling. This keeps its mana cost, which makes it difficult to use in any combos. It is similar to Blood Herald – which sees almost no play – except that it doesn’t scale as well.
Star Student Stelina
What would happen if this shuffled a card that was previously buffed? For example, what would happen if a weapon drawn with Corsair Cache was shuffled back into the deck? Would it lose or retain the buff?
Infectious Sporeling
If you cast betrayal on a minion with poisonous, it will destroy the adjacent minions, so I’m assuming it will do the same for the sporeling.
Infectious Sporeling
Combos that I can think of:
Infectious Sporeling + Betrayal (once you have transformed one of their minions into sporelings, you can transform two more)
Infectious Sporeling + Sweeping Strikes (you might want to give it rush first)
Fairly decent in wild against resurrect priest for classes without transform effects.
Ramming Speed
I would think it to be better than betrayal, actually. It only requires two minions on the board to have its full effect and has the potential to destroy both of them. Also, this card will damage the minion targeted as well. Yes, betrayal can damage two minions, its just less likely to have as big of an effect and harder to set up.
Platebreaker
It has a very strong effect, but it’s too situational to actually be played. Though it will help you win matchups against control warrior, its just a 5/5 against nearly all other decks in standard (including tempo warrior). You are better off putting more removal in your deck than using this.
Bandersmosh
Considering that standard will be full of high cost legendary dragons with powerful battlecries, I think this card is massively underrated.
Dragonrider Talritha
A quest pally might have trouble using this because it would have to run both dragons and reborn minions, and currently the two don’t overlap. Unlike Valanyr, this only hits dragons so it would become obsolete as soon as you run out of dragons to play.
Vicious Scraphound
When this is magnetized, you could gain a ton of armor with the new card that makes it damage adjacent minions
Underbelly Ooze
I think one of the factors we are missing is that the Ooze summons a copy of itself, whereas Grim Patron summons another patron. That means that if you buff this or play anything on this it will summon another copy with the buff. This could be insane with some classes like paladin, but there could be problems in that the copy will probably also be damaged, meaning warpath and other warrior cards might not work as well with it.
The Boom Reaver
Warrior doesn’t have many big minions so far this expansion, so without those cards Big Warrior doesn’t have much of a future in standard.
Exotic Mountseller
In standard, the only 3 cost beasts will be Augmented Elek, Blink Fox, Black Cat, Duskbat, Emperor Cobra, Ironbeak Owl, Ironfur Grizzly, Jungle Panther, King Mukla, Messenger Raven, Ornery Tortoise, and Silverback Patriarch.
Possible exordia combo with Dead Man’s Hand?
