You should try it. Jaina is much like rexxar. With the downside of being too slow. All you have to do is be greedy. I got lucky with getting some very greedy legendaryes like pyros. Pyros alone gives your N’zoth all the value it needs. with just 1x 2 mana card you have up to 3 x 10/10 minions. I got syndragossa quite late i was not playing mage at that time. But it will work OK even with your n’zoth. i actually removed the bankers since there are tons of big threats in the deck to close the game even in high fatigue.
Just put jaina in the reno package. Reno itself sometimes feels useless if you are transformed into frost lich so you can use your zola on kazakus or other stuff.
Underbelly Angler
it is much better than primalfin lookout. Much cheeper and you can get a Megafin like effect for all your murloc tynifins. Its a very good card for every murloc deck its sad that only shamans have access to it.

i actually climbed ladder with reno n’zoth mage. I know i was very surprised too. But the deck outvalues priest thanks to jaina. And it can overvalue warlocks thanks to polymorph. If you catch that mal’ganis you are very likely to win. Ice block and reno is the best reno synergy. And it kind of works againts OTK deck. And mage does not struggle with card draw or for the lack of value generating cards. Cards like medivh or dragoncaller alana together with the N’zoth giv eyou plenty of hard to clear boards. And the inite water elementals are a pain in the ass.
Mage reno had much more synergy with even thaddius than my wild priest deck. Dragon’s furry blizzards, frost novas and doomsayer can give you a ton of early game advantage. The fact that you can draw ice block with arcanologist gives you enough stall for even the most aggresive decks. And jaina murders the crap out of everything in the late game. You also have a bonus banker effect from the whispers of the old gods expansion if you are going reno. The deck is very good. And while jade druid in the lategame spawns one sing;e big minion per turn you have the potential to dish out full boards of 5/5 stated minions. Put in the sylvi effects the instant heals from rags or barron geddons and the deck has potentionally more value than you can hadnle. And you oponent while holding on to a boardclear for N’zoth turns does not really know what to expect.
With this dragon you can go really greedy as the most powerfull spell in the game is the 10 mana kazakus potion. Followed by UI and the rafaam card.
And if reno lock is tier one and i could beat it with reno N’zith mage. You can bet your ass its not tier 4.
Magic Trick
its just for minions and its not enough. You still need to go face to win the game and 2 attack minion is not taking down 30 life total and the board control.

well obviously you do not want a dead card in aggro matchups in your hand. Bloodlust is a OTk kinf of effect for your deck and you lose tons of value just for holding it. And if you are winning the board you don’t need hagatha, all you need is some minion buff. Hagatha turns your OK-ish kind of deck into a bad midrange deck.
Darkest Hour
For 9 mana you can swamp your deck with big minions and draw them with this and rafaam scheme. Seems legit. Considering they are not restricted to being unique effects in your deck. The fact that you can draw like crazy. It can work. You do get a 7/8 taunt boddy fro mcards like rafaam if you pull them that way. But chetting out a leeroy or doomguard is not bad. With doomguards being a wild only card. i think the lock OTK decks get more and more disgusting with each expansion. While most of them are just for the wild community though.
Jumbo Imp
Yey imp giant at large. Although i think it was going to be much more efficient at 12 mana gets one mana cheeper for each imp that dies this game or 666 mana it costs 50 less for each friendly imp that died this game. you know something creative 😀

One can think that this card is bringing silence priest into the meta once again. But they cannot be more wrong. In wild big priest still otvalues this by a ton. And there are not all that much targets to use this on.
I really liked the silence aspect of priest as it gave you a tempo oriented deck. Where cards like Wailing souls would turn your 2 mana ancient watchers into instant tempo cards. You would play those low cost seemingly harmless cards into a powerfull tempo tool. OR iwith cards like huldnir frostrider to negate the effect of the freeze. And undo all their negative effects in one turn. Than yes priest would have a tempo deck. But all those cards are from different years of development and for wild they are too slow. Because you know what type of priest is there where by turn 4 you get 12/15 worth of stats if you hit y’sharaj. So i presume you can make the math. This does not give you that much stats for 4 turns. Although it could with enough descent 1 and 2 drop cards with 3/3 + statlines.
Hench-Clan Shadequill
Very good card for priest. You can use the new silence card with this to deny the oponent from the healing. and summon another copy of this card silenced. For some great turn 4 and 5with the coun you can make it on turn 3 and 4 whitch is nasty. Almost as good as injured blademaster and revive. With the slight differance that the card is a bit more expensive but you no longer have to wait for the minion to die.
And it gets even better with auchenai soul priests as the 5 heal for your oponent can turn into a pleasent visit to your oponents face.
The archetype does bring us back to the time when priest first became a cancer for al ltimes. With a nice twist for silence suport cards.
Convincing Infiltrator
Faceless minion that can turn into anything and even become shadows or invisible. Wearing a disguise. This is very funny and i totally dig the art though. The effect is very nice. Who doesn’t want another canrd that can destroy even the 4 attack minions priests struggle with. And this effect is enough for the 2/2 epic shadowy figure card to actually see some value. Voodoo doll is still i nthe rooster so you can imagine removal is not a problem for the priests. You can have some good old control removal kind of style of deck.
The problem with obsidian statue was that its mana cost was waaay too high to be usefull in priest. And this is straighout great.
For wild purposes this is a fair replacement for sludge belcher however. Since the good thing about sludge was the fact that i can take out 2 hits from big minions and this can not only do that but it can potentially remove one of them and stil lsav eyou from the second hit. It is bad that a powerhouse of a card like belcher got flooded with cards that are srtaigghout copyes of it. But i guess the game must develop in some ways.
Very strong card overall and a very durty effect. The only good priest card in a very long while.
It is very flexible too it can go with deathrattle, wall, lady in white, Casino. Galery.
This is the priest star of the expansion card.
Whirlwind Tempest
We have seen this effect in the community created cards. The only bad thing is that the legendary card shaman got was murloc and if they had a card that makes your elementals cost 1. All those great 8 stated elementals would have it going in standart. I thought it was the year of the dragon not the year of the elemental. And most windfury minions don’t have more than 4 attack.
A big minus to this card is that is that it doesn;t synergize with doomhammer. Otherwise you could have a potential WINfurry deck :D.
Overall a very poorly recreation of the fanmade card. And a big missed oportynity to bring in a whol enew archetype to the game. Windfurry minions were basicly used in shaman decks because their minion attack booster card could make them somehow competitive.
Better job next time.

if you are using thaurissan you can go without this :D. And anyfin can happen murloc is in paladin. We have seen this OTK many many times. And paladins have it much more consistently.

I have been playing murloc decks since whispers of the old gods when paladin got the inquistor. It was super cute and charming and the deck was very very bad. Decks like anyfin can happen were much more effective.
After that i got a golden quest in US and i was like shure why not. It climbed me to about rank 5 and than when baka paladin came to existance i was sooo angry that i dusted it for something else. An aggro deck that can’t outaggro upgraded paladin hero power that started its play at turn 2 felt extremely bad. And by that point i had all murloc cards. from every class.
So murloc decks give you a bad taste. ALthough i have to aggre that at some ranks there are people who do not know how to play againt murlocs and give you free wins. At higher ranks you will get wrecked. The whole archetype got completely screwed with the change of warleader. All murloc minion were designed to have 1 hp. And your support cards were suposed to make them scary and healthy. And with the loss of that 1 hp aura the murloc from a meme deck became a very bad meme deck.
Don’t get me wron quest shaman had great uses. I even was able to occasionally farm Giant deck when the naga was the plague of the wild format. But the deck has big downsides and if your oponent happens to get the boardclear in the right moment you insta lose. So while we all like murloc decks. My advice to you is to avoid them as they are very expensive and not worth the effort. And value wise they are outdated by a lot.
About the card 4 mana 4/4 is almost as good as the yeti. It can make amalgams cost 1 mana although you would probably play amalgam on turn 3. So value wise you are not getting much. Most murloc minions are 1 mana. And murloc support cards are usually not murlocs and cost a ton more. This is not like aviana where you dish out some c’thuns and its gg. Even aviana heavy boards can be cleared. And you are talking about some murloc tokens.
I have to admit that this expansion there is quite much more murloc generating token cards. And while icefishing is gone tastyfin does get the job done. The biggest value card for murlocs in shaman decks is the bloodlust though. And no matter how much murlo ctokens you get the best play will be electra bloodlust.
Megasaurs were used as alternative to BL, so its plane old smack them in the face. Its very bad that the hag that gives you 2 amalgams can’t benefit from this.
I may want this although my quest shaman wll work the same even without it. It is not effect that can end you the game. It is not one of the best murloc cards. Even though the best murloc cards failed to bring murlocs to competitive levels. And Pirates, Silverhands, elementals and dragons they all have tier one decks. Murlocs not that much.

playing hagatha with murlocs feels bad. You kill your own minions for it to activate and thus you lose board prescence. The good thing of murlocs is that if you manage to stick about 2 minions you can burst big numbers and hagatha denyes you the board in every case.
Shimmerfly
jeweled macaw was battlecry. If you drew it at turn 10 for example you could play the 1/1 token and than the beast. This is deathrattle. Its more like the priest crystaline oracle. The card was staple for priest for quite some time, although being super bad, but priest doesn’t get any good cards for reasons unknown. Apparently resurrect priest is the only priest since blackrock mountain.
So the card is not bad. if you draw this turn 1 you can play it as a filler if you do not have anything else to play that turn. But most of the times hunters do have what to play that turn. It can be used to feed your hyena so its not a waste of card slots. Perhabs if quest hunter was still a thing. Just like with priest it was going to be a staple. Thick you quest and get a card is not half that bad. But for now there are way better cards for hunter. And i think dragon hunter could also become a thing so We shael see.
Conjurer's Calling
I think the working is a bit wrong. It says destroy A minion. not destroy A FRIENDLY minion. And it costs 2 mana. So I presume if you destroy an enemy minion you summon 2 minions for your oponent. So the mana cost is very low. Destroying low cost minions usually results in garbage. And AoE is still a thing. It gives you more consistency for khadgar. AND you can kill off a damaged big minion for fair replacement for the health per mana costs for stats you get.
Hench-Clan Hag
We are seing multi tribe deck failure 2.0. Beast dragon murloc cards failed when they were released in one night in karazhan. And this card is worse than the amalgam card. Although the stat like is very good. And arena people may like it. For arena it is OK card. 1/1 tokens that can be buffed is nice. But exept for the demons other classes have very few buff cards. And they are generated so elemental synergy is gone. And dragon synergy is if you are holding a dragon. So unless you are a lock and you have some sort of demon fire its not great.
The archetype is not working now and putting more epic cards will not encourage many people to paly it hence we get less valuable information about it. But it is not working out any tiem soon. For any class whatsoever.

8 mana 7/7 is not that bad of a stat like. It is ONLy usable in control. Cheeting fatigue was very hard and only few classes could do it. Now you can’t play infinitely there is 45 turns limit so there goes the fun :). It however offers you 0 board prescence and most aggro decks would just kill you really fast.
We have seen in tavern brauls that putting 5 cards that synergize with themselfs can bring a ton of value. But it way too random. Even with standarts limited card pool.
This card however can give you this extra value after using mira’s unstable element. And turn your aggro deck into a midrange deck. If your oponents isn’t dead. And it can make tempo rogue a very interesting deck type. We are seing tempo pirate rogues running mira. And a lot of decks can’t keep up with the steam. On the other hand a single coppy of academis espionage is potentially more valueable in those cases but this is a bit more consistent. Probably. We must teast it to be shure.
to start of the previous adventure was not that great. The cloak was useless as it was expected. The good news are my control warrior is still a thing :D. At least its not as long as the previous one with 6 chapters. And the 5×700 g was much more than what this expansion will bring. I am still expecting some great rewards for completing the 3 expansions although i doubt that will be the case.
An upgrade to the cloak could come in handy. After all no one plays those decks anymore and they are all outdated now since the archetypes got cards that made them better in this set. And we still don;t know what the golden fish will yeld us. But in the end if the rewards stay as low as they are now maybe the casual should skip the adventures for shure. Whitch is like 80% of the player base. But that is just my math i am shure blizzard keeps a better track of their games. But if the ranking system is proving a usefull tool and the legend players are the top 1% and the rank 5 up are the top 10% than i may be even generous to say a big portion of the player base are casuals. Again not actual number but i hope you al lget the point.
Adventures were not as fun as they used to. I am comparing the last one to expansions like brd or naxx. Where the adventures gave us valuable cards even though the legendary cards were not as powerfull as the already existing ones. With exeptions like loatheb and thorason respectively from voth expansions. But in no situation was maexna worthy of being a legendary. And while brann was usefull he is deffinately worthless now with lesser value than spirit of the shark.
So adventures did not bring the top meta cards in your collection, but they had impact on the meta and gave birth to many new archetypes. And the select few brought plagues to the ladder but that is a diferent topic Barns.
The new card power levels certainly made expansions much easyer. And boses in previous adventures played with unique decks as addition to their unique hero powers. They weren’t just tweaked existing hero classes with the same cards you have and few standart extra OP cards. And they were challanging since you had to play around their trump cards. Rather than just beat them with your own treasures.
So to top it off not only am i not having as much fun but i don’t even get rewards. I am not even shure if whizband and zeke deserve to be legendary anymore. If you have been playing the game for a whole year they are useless to you anyway. Lets wish ouwself the ability to dust BOTH of them for the next years balance changes.
Despite the fact that the adventures are bad i am still getting them all just becauseof curiousity. Not as exited for the next year though.
