So, you see this, you don’t magnetise but play it the normal way, or you use your magnetised minion to be the trading one to begin with, it takes 4 damage but you get a free copy of the first minion you had back if it lives, really it isn’t that bad.

I feel like a problem a lot of people rating cards on this site have is that they only look at how good a card would be when added to a currently existing deck. It’s way more interesting with cards like this to imagine the world they are actually going to be around in.

You can count it as 6 attack because if a minion trades into this twice it will have taken 6 damage, and you need to trade twice to get it down.
You always add stats together in this game for ease of calculation, but that’s done for a reason.
And yes, for deathrattle, divine shield, summoning copies etc the math sometimes works out worse and sometimes works out better than just adding it together in a practical situation (AoE, silence, having no minions to trade with to get value out of the deathrattle).

This card is really good, will definitely see play in the new highlander/one of decks if those are a thing, for 7 mana you can potentially do 6 damage to 2 minions, or 6 to one and be left with a 6/6.
Needless to say that the rush option is what makes the card good, rush is often like a better version of taunt because you direct the attack. The only time taunt will be taken over rush is if you are against an empty board and you’re afraid of a Leroy to the face. Or a King Krush from the new Hunter legendary, which also comes down on 7.

Not like an Al’Akir that can’t go face at all. Al’Akir is 8 mana for a 3/5, this would become a 6/6 for one less mana, and one mana is a lot.

Guys it’s a deathrattle, not a battlecry. Meaning that your opponent can just attack their own 3 or 4 drop into it and bounce a lackey back to their hand.
Sap doesn’t always see play in Rogue because, even if you can target something with it, your opponent may only be playing stuff that they don’t mind replaying because their minions are small or have battlecries.
And unlike sap this can’t be targeted, your opponent can actually influence what gets bounced, and we are in a world were people don’t mind their lackeys and murlocs getting bounced, keep that in mind.

Might be run in one of the new highlander/one of decks, specifically Mage, if that becomes a thing. Because that deck would play the new earthquake and puzzlebox cards as well, and probably cards like blizzard, flamestrike, and a bunch of smaller spells.
The one thing really holding it back is that you can’t guarantee to get taunts, boardwipes or healing from it though, so it’s not like a N’Zoth although the statlines and effect seem somewhat similar at a glance.

Lmao someone is salty, you hadn’t responded that yet when I left my comment son, no need to get so worked up. And I never said the card was garbage, I just said it wasn’t insanely broken, maybe you should read more carefully.
Dark Pharaoh Tekahn
As the other guy said, you don’t leave lackeys up, especially when you know Warlock has this card potentially.
Overflow
Yeah, but we know by now Blizzard wants all classic and basic cards nerfed to the ground or to be literally useless, so I don’t want to compare it to those cards. But yes it’s literally a sprint with upside.

This really doesn’t feel like it’s that broken, 5 mana for a 4/4 is a loss in tempo initially, and the effect can be good, but it isn’t like you are going to be playing 20 lackeys like rogue does.
Not saying it’s bad, but people are overreacting.
Overflow
This card is likely to be good, 7 mana draw 5 is really good, and this also revives Lucentbark and heals your face, 4/5 at least.

Earthquake
As if control decks ever mind the fact AoE hits their side of the board. Hellfire, Nether, Psychics Scream, Brawl, Hysteria, Equality/Pyro, Shrink Ray, Lightbomb, Warpath, Volcano. All those cards saw or see play on control decks of those classes, and they hit your own board, it just doesn’t matter to control decks.
Wasteland Assassin
As I said, it may not be good enough in a meta where a lot of broken stuff is happening in all decks, but if the Paladin decks with the quest turn out okay this may find a home, not as the best card out of the 30, but a home nonetheless.
Wasteland Assassin
This card is way better than some people give it credit for, it’s a total of 8/3 stats over 2 bodies, that’s 5.5 average stats, for 5 mana. Then it also has stealth so the lower health isn’t that bad.
On its own that of course still doesn’t make it good enough to see play in most decks that do broken lackey, giant or lucentbark stuff, but the paladin quest cares about reborn, and the new one of/highlander cards, specifically the paladin one, might make a one of midrange deck decent.
I didn’t count the hero power, but you’re right. I just generally tend to not count hero powers like that, or Rexxar and doctor booms mech generating, towards the cost of the card. But I suppose this is different because you are only adding a battlecry and not an entire card to your hand.
