Zola the Gorgon
A golden copy? They should probably make the golden Zola add a normal copy to your hand then ^^ haha
Marin the Fox
If this guy isn’t a pirate, I don’t know who is….
Like if you are not gonna give him the pirate label, then do some different art, but if you look at the art from the card, it’s definitely a pirate.
Peter Whalen Shares Some Detailed Thoughts on the Recruit Keyword Mechanic on Reddit
They say they won’t change cards from previous sets for the Recruit keyword because of all the reasons given in this article, but they did exactly that when they brought the keyword Lifesteal to the game and they changed Wickerflame Burnbristle’s and Pain Succubus’ text, which were cards from past expansions at that moment.
So sometimes they do it, sometimes they don’t? -.-
Rin, the First Disciple
You know that Bloodbloom targets only the next spell and not all the spells you play in that turn right?
Rin, the First Disciple
I understand that to pull the entire combo is gonna be tough, but haven’t you all thought that just the fact that you got the seal in your hand is gonna make your opponent freak out? Like, he’s probably gonna start playing all desperate and trying to kill you fast, so that’s when you decide to use that desperation to your advantage.
Remember that Rin takes only 1 space in your deck, the seals are bonuses, so that means you don’t have to sacrifice any cards from your deck.
I got seals in my hand but my opponent decided to play 3 minions to start pressuring me, there goes a hellfire/fellfire potion/twisting nether/etc; my opponent just drew cards this turn? I’ma play a seal and maybe life tap or something; my opponent played a huge minion to table, then I siphon soul/blastcrystal potion it; and so it goes.
Remember if you play this cars you should be playing a very heavy control deck, and playing Rin doesn’t mean that when she dies you have to play seals every turn and forget about actually playing the game. The idea is for you to play seals when your opponent has weak turns, and to put huge pressure on him. He knows that he has to change his game plan or he is gonna get wrecked eventually.
If you play against aggro, Rin might at least be useful for you because of the taunt, but forget about playing seals, it’s just not gonna be worth it. And if you play against control, then playing Rin will definitely scare your opponent.
Hope this helps reprieve some negativism over the card on some people that gave their oppinion on this card.
An In-Depth Look at the Hearthstone Free-to-Play Experience
Hi everyone, I have been a Hearthstone Free to Play player since Hearthstone’s day 1 launch, and thought I might share my experience with you all.
I wouldn’t spend any real money on this game but even if I would like to, I couldn’t because I live in Venezuela and getting US Dollars in this country is only available through black market and extremely expensive.
First of all I really like this game. When I first started playing I only played casual and kept doing daily quests, but as time flew by, I started getting more and more competitive when I have the time. On some seasons I have more free time than others. I have gotten to Legend 6 times if I recall correctly, and would have gotten it more times if I had more free time to grind it out. I even got to Legend rank 298 once, and 400ish on another.
To whoever plays as a Free to Play player let me tell you that it is possible to be competitive. I know that if you recently started playing it gets more difficult because you’ve had less time to get a stable card collection, but means you have to work a bit harder.
I think I haven’t missed more than 20 daily quests since Hearthstone’s launch day, and let me say I have a very big card collection, and also I like golden cards a lot. I only disenchant cards when I have more than 2 of them, and if I get a golden one, I disenchant the normal one and keep the golden always, no matter how bad the card is (e.g: I had a normal King Krush and opened a Golden King Krush on a pack, and disenchanted the normal one even though the card is really bad at the moment).
When it comes to crafting, I do so when I like a deck I see and I am missing some essential cards that could serve me on other decks as well (e.g: When Mean Streets launched, after I opened like 70 packs and maybe a month after release, I decided to craft Patches, and after a while I also crafted Aya and Kazakus).
Also, since classic cards don’t go to wild, when I craft something from that set I craft it golden because I like golden cards I repeat ^^, and if they go to Hall of Fame they give you a full refund so there is no loss there.
Every time an expansion comes I have over 4000 gold saved for pack openings on day 1, and after that I keep doing the quests and playing arena to get more everyday (I start saving for the next expansion approximately 1 month before they announce it, or when I feel that I already have the most important cards in the current set). Once I feel like arena is consuming too much of my time then I just start getting packs from playing ranked and quests so I can climb up the ladder. My main goal every season is to at least get Rank 5 to get that golden epic and the 2 golden commons. I’ve only missed one season that I didn’t get a minimum of rank 5 and was because I didn’t have time at all to play that season.
When I play arena I usually get past 5 wins so it is more rewarding than just buying packs, but it is more time consuming, so it depends on your free time. If you have the time go for arena then if you are at least average at it.
I hope this helps someone and gives some “hope” to them on the Free to Play experience and what you can accomplish with it.
Thank you for reading! (sorry for the bad writing, I did this very fast to go back to work)

Lesh’s Velygos Control (July 2017, Season 40)
I’ll try your Alexstrasza instead of Malygos and see how it goes, sounds good.
Also I’ve been trying Yogg instead of Malygos, and he’s been helping me in games like going against Jade Druids, or games where I am losing badly, and he’s turned the tables most of the times.
Lesh’s Velygos Control (July 2017, Season 40)
I honestly don’t understand how are you losing that many games against aggro decks when you have so much removal. There is always a few games you lose against them of course because no deck has 100% winrate against anything, but I’m winning the majority against them.
Lesh’s Velygos Control (July 2017, Season 40)
Jade Druid is definitely a problem. I think it’s the worst matchup for this deck. When I face those what I try to do is starting turn 4 get minions on the board and put pressure, while going for good trades. Do not ever let Jade Druid do the trades. Remember Druid doesn’t have good removals.
I honestly haven’t had problems with warriors, although I haven’t faced pure control warriors, only quest and pirate ones. Try the mass dispel for those you mention, or do the Pint-Size Potion+Shadow Word: Horror combo.
Hope this helps!
Lesh's Face Hunter (March 2017, Season 36)
Hi there! Glad to hear that, hope it keeps working out for you!
Thanks for the feedback!
Lesh's Face Hunter (March 2017, Season 36)
Against aggro decks you need to trade efficiently and manage your secrets wisely. If you simply go face you are probably gonna lose.
Don’t feel bad if you sometimes lose against aggro decks. There are times that even if you do all moves correctly you still will lose to some initial card hands.
Thanks for the feedback!
Lesh's Face Hunter (March 2017, Season 36)
Jade and Beast Druids ***** (erase the “seems to be doing” at the end hehe)
Lesh's Face Hunter (March 2017, Season 36)
I think it has a good matchup against pretty much every deck.
Specifically, it has been doing awesomely well against Aggro, Water and Miracle Rogues; Aggro, Midrange and Control Shamans; Jade and Beast Druids seems to be doing
I would say that against Reno decks if you don’t finish him off quickly it’s gg for you, but many times you can get the job done in enough time.
And I think the most difficult matchup is Dragon Priest.
Hope this helped, let me know if you need any more information or help, and thank you for writing.
Lesh's Face Hunter (March 2017, Season 36)
Currently at Rank 1 with this deck! 76% win rate at the moment.
The Caverns Below
This is a great quest and I see it working perfectly with an aggro deck that uses a lot of cheap charge minions like Southsea Deckhand, plus of course Shadowstep and Ferryman for example to make it work.
Imagine after having the quest activated to be able to pull 5/5 charge minions for 1 or 2 mana, and if you return them to your hand, would do 10 damage in 1 turn with a single minion.
I think it’s a great quest that will open new different ways to play aggro, rather than the usual.
Pirate Warrior ft. Mana Wraith (Anti Reno & Anti Shaman) (December 2016, Season 33)
Hehe yeah, they were never used and forgotten. They’ve found a good place to be useful now ^^. Thanks for the comment!
Awesome deck!
Climbed from Rank 5 to Legend with this. Sitting at 850 Legend Rank with it at the moment.
Thumbs up to author!
