Worth it regardless. 2 mana 3/2 draw a card is disgusting. Renolock has draw but this is still worth adding in imho. This is 100% in my Reno Mage day 1, it’s just an amazing 2 drop and depending on ai a tutor + resource generator.
Octosari
This card is disgusting in the 8 drop spot for wild. No silence run outside of priest, and this gives as much tempo as rag/lich imho.
Even shaman or at a stretch pirate warrior could run.
Frightened Flunky
This card is so powerful I could see it being run in pirate warrior for the raw tempo of it.
2 mana 2/2 draw a card is exceptional.
Taunt on top of that increases power level again, and forces opponent to either have 2 minions on board or take weak trades (hard to do/bad against aggro)
Jepetto Joybuzz
Value combo not otk combo it’s too unreliable for that. Could find a spot to pull brann Zola kazakus nome kreul rat lord gofrey nzoth only cards that are already played. Warlocks the example there but it’s more likely to be played in a deck that’s short of draw like mage because 8 mana 6/6 draw 2 cards isn’t too bad at all. There you have the new 10 mana dragon etc.
EVIL Genius
Even warlock can start it’s pressure a bit earlier if run but idk if it’s even worth the spot. Still best of the 2 mana lackey cards I’ve seen sofar.
Dragon Speaker
Nice idea but it’s meh in application imhi. Might fit into some lists but stats don’t win games t6+ (wild) – dragons have always played value/support role in priest for example.
Bronze Herald
This makes dragon paladin viable. I think the accepted minimum number of dragons in a deck is 6 (priest) to avail of bonus’ from holding in hand – and that’s really tight from experience. To hit 6-8 in paladin without serious sacrifices was/is hard and that’s assuming that the deck is end of midrange to control, which is also a pipe dream atm (unless otk). Basically this card enables dragon paladin by giving dragon synergy but what deck the dragons fit into will be interesting – a midrange dragon paladin that utilises cta tarim tirion lich rag could really punch hard with power spike from 5-8.
Forbidden Words
Yeah, draw even comes into it with this card – I see it potentially being played in nzoth/quest Reno priest (not dragon or otk archetype) and just maybe sneak into big priest although it’s unlikely. It’s a fringe card but I just had to point out the ineptitude of comparing rogue class cards to other classes.
Khadgar
This is way overhyped. It may fit into reno-mage tho. Main synergies I’m thinking about are molten reflection (idk if this is possible) to try and give Reno Mage the otk Anton + Thaurissan as a control counter (esp pesky mecha c’thun renolock). 2ndly it could synergize with kazakus’ demon summon and minion res – it would be a much more popular option if you could fill a board for 7 mana from hand with “summon 2 random minions that died this game; summon a 5:5 demon” let alone when he sticks on board into a 6 card res + other effect (although these are more co-incidental than deck warping).
Chef Nomi
Just about to say this fits perfectly into agro rogue as a finisher t6-t8 where response aoe is hard to come by (limited by mana cost, card draw or used on agro minions already)
Kalecgos
You don’t have to play burn archetype mage … In fact I think a lot of people would prefer if you didn’t. This card slots right into Reno Mage.
Forbidden Words
Removal is here highly class subjective. Any board clears or single target removal is welcome in priest. Also comparing rogue spells to priest is stupid. Control archetypes of rogue, if they exist under the heading of deathrattle rogue (more midrange) are not effective enough to be on my radar. Eg Warlock has some of the best board clear spells in the game, so they leave out cards like 8 mana deal 5 dmg to all minions and doom destroy all minions, draw a card for each destroyed which would be fringe cards in classes like mage, hunter, druid, priest, or paladin for control builds.
