Hearthstone Gets A New Premium Currency Called "Runestones" - What Are They, How to Get Them (Updated)
Hi there! Any info how this will work with Amazon coins? Probably not because it’d be in the article but hey, might ask nevertheless. ๐
The Most Promising Murder at Castle Nathria Decks: What Can We Expect from the New Expansion?
‘…Coming from an old-school Magic background, when you had an infinite combo, you just showed it โ assuming your opponent was tapped out โ and that was the game…’
Fun fact: According to a special tournament rule, if the infinite combo does nothing that would cause your opponent tu actually lose the game, you lose the game because of ‘stalling’.
Muck Plumber
Why should it? The cost on minions in play aren’t affected by this card.
Muck Plumber
I can also see this as the top end of an aggro deck. This for sure can cripple certain decks.
Dinner Performer
But that’s a very special situation. And you have to wonder if a 7-cost minion on turn 10 would make it.
Sure you could build some sort of combo deck that catches a certain minion like Lady Anacondra … but still, it would be better to streamline your deck and not play a 3-cost minion that becomes totally useless if you’d already drawn that special minion.
We can’t be sure but I think it’s not worth it.
Anonymous Informant
Now we have this effect on 1, 2 and 3-cost minions (1 and 3 Mage exclusive). I wonder if you can afford to run all of them in Wild Secret Mage…
Sketchy Stranger
Wow, Shudderwock Shaman can play Secrets now. Strong enough? Not really, because there are too many Secrets in Wild. Fun card nonetheless, gives Secrets to all classes.
Steamcleaner
Yupp pretty sure those cards aren’t affected.
Quest Priest and Kazakusan… will have a tougher time. Does this warrant deck inclusion? We’ll see…
Crud Caretaker
As pointed out by CASA, this is an Evolve Shaman card. 2 4-cost minions is very good in that deck.
Partner in Crime
Occult Conjurer is a class card… and an Epic. I’d say this isn’t much weaker.
Private Eye
Just want to point out – most of the time, it is NOT a 4 mana cast 2.
Fantastic card nonetheless.
Kidnap
The minion is played, so Battlecry should happen. Then, it’s Hearthstone we’re talking about, so who knows …
Theotar, the Mad Duke
Keep in mind though that it is not guaranteed that you’ll get to discover the cards you want to. Especially against a control deck which is guaranteed to have a full hand.
Very good card nonetheless. Really cool that Blizz is making more disruption cards these days.
Bibliomite
When the ‘combo’ was played, I always tended to draw Xhilag before drawing Caria. Damn that card would’ve been good then.
That said, pretty solid when you want to put cards back in your deck. The question is: Do aggro decks want this effect? Because I don’t think other archetypes can compensate the card disadvantage.
Kryxis the Voracious
Warlock would die for this ๐ That said, pretty good card for any form of Aggro Demon Hunter (except Odd, of course).
How does your opponent get his minion back? What might happen (if your opponent actually draws and plays Soul Seeker) is that he gets another minion from your deck.
Or do I understand you wrong?
That said decent disruption against minion-based-combo decks with few minions. ๐
