What really bothers me is the psychological aspect… on one side, you’re ‘afraid’ of losing, on the other you HAVE to play to climb out of the dumbster. It makes me feel uncomfortable and I have to tell myself time and time again that it is only a game…

Fact is, I think to myself that it would’ve been better for me to not have played more since I hit Wild Legend on the 2nd of June – started off at 160, fell to 1.300 (tried some decks and had bad luck with others). Now I’m at 940 with the same ‘gridlocked’ feeling you describe.

I got the 11x star bonus on the Wild ladder this month although I only finished Diamond 3 in May … in April, I got to 517 legend (again, Wild) but ‘only’ got a 10x star bonus in May.

So all in all, how you get the 11x star bonus seems very random to me (in Wild at least). Well, I guess I’ll have to wait what happens in July. 😉

Could swear I tripple checked Pavelingbooks list and didn’t see the Chewer there… *shrug* Oh well, I overlooked. If this is what makes a troll… yeah.

What do you mean by ‘quit out of your game during the combat stage…’? Is there a way to quit combat without completely quiting the lobby you’re playing in?

Funny how Guardian Augmerchant and Bonechewer Brawler aren’t used together, even if they have on-point synergy…

Sorry for the late reply and thx for your answer. But I still don’t get it… Soul Mirror only copies enemy minions so it doesn’t matter if you got any minions in play (not entirely true; if your board is full of weak minions, Soul Mirror becomes really bad unless you clear your side of the board first 😉 )!?

I’m playing for years, always to rank 5, after hitting legend once.

My win rate wasn’t that high (at least not higher than the month before), so that doesn’t seem to explain it …

My logic (until now, that is) was: ‘High Legend’: 11 stars, Legend 10 stars, Diamond 5-1 9 stars.

But, as I saw, this logic didn’t work out. 😉

BTW finished 160 Legend yesterday in the evening by just playing a few hours. New system is devaluating Legend status for sure o.0 …

Don’t know if the Server mattes but… finished Diamond 3 last season (Wild) and started climbing Again yesterday. Only faced ‘netdecks’ like Quest Mage, Pirate Warrior, Raza Priest, Odd DH in like 30+ games.

Besides that: Finished legend 517 the Season before, got a 10 multiplier. This time, Besides not grinding to legend, it is an 11 multiplier… surely something one doesn’t need to understand. 🙂
