Had a couple of games like that while I run a version that included him, but most of the time he just sat there until I could copy a couple of dragons (usually an Emberscale or an Ysera). It’s a pitty, cause I crafted him in NA before even starting to theorycraft the deck xD

Thanks! It is very ufn to play and I had a good winrate during the first 3 days (about 65%), but games tend to take too long you can get screwed by dead draws here and there, but it did surprisingly well against the two token decks (druid and murloc shaman).

That’s why I had much better results with the dragon packege over mechs, since that way I can have threats on the board and remove stuff more easily. The rush package felt just a bit weaker than dragons to me, but better than mechs nonetheless.

I did try and make him work, but the hard truth is that he is too slow. I’m a sucker for infinite value, so it pained me to have to cut him…

He kind of acts as a fail-safe against slow decks, comboed with Underbelly Angler. If you are already winning a lot of those games you can replace Scargil with Leeroy.

The deck could look to include double Mana Tide and drop Jepetto for another mid-late game threat. I thought about spirit of the frog and I could see a version that it is included, dropping the fatigue-style cards for a focus on battlecries, maybe with Shudderwock at the top.

These are good changes. Makes the deck more midrangy and gives it a little of late-game punch, in case it goes the distance. I have to admit that Fire Plume Phoenix has been kind of underwhelming right now and the second Glacial Shard might be too much. I would consider including one Lightning Storm, to help with Odd Rogue, Zoolock and Even Shaman matchups.

While there is no need for Necrium Blade for the OTK, it could very well be included, since you can use one of them to trade early and the second one to trigger the combo.

Sorry for the delayed response! I figured it would mess up the combo, more often than not. The list could end up being more stall-focused, if the meta demands it.

With the only really slow deck being Cubelock and most other decks being on the more aggressive side, adding two Questing Adventures than can close the game out really fast or force awkward trades seems to be preferable. I would recommend adding 1-2 Striders, if you face a lot of Cubelock and Taunt Druid.
