Does anyone have the exact text on a Warder (or better yet, an image of the token)? Everything about how good or bad this is seems like speculation without having one of those to look at.

I did think strongly about including Floop’s Goop, and if I were going to include it, I’d probably remove Crystalsong Portal first. Given that it’s a Reno-style deck (except for the Mogu in this case), pretty much any card that isn’t part of the Mogu combo is on the table for being subbed in or out, as far as I’m concerned.
Tavern Brawl - The Burndown
For me, seeing the data generated by this brawl would be far more interesting than the experience of playing it has been. It seems like a sort of nature vs. nurture scenario, and I’d love to see the outlier cases:
– Bad decks that lasted a while because they had good players.
– Good decks that tanked immediately because they had poor players.

All I ask is that there be some special interaction if Highkeeper Ra gets activated while one of the players is using the Thunder King hero.

Here’s what I want to see in a highlight video:
Cast Dimensional Ripper, summoning 2 copies of Archmage Vargoth, each of which recasts Dimensional Ripper…
Not a practical card at all, but goofy enough that people will definitely be experimenting with it.

The card text says Restore 5 health to awaken. Do we need to restore all 5 health at once (similar to getting activations from Sherazin or Dragon Soul)? Or can we restore 5 health over time (like powering up some of the spell stones)?

If I play this in Rogue and he recasts a combo spell, will the combo effect go off, or just the basic effect?

Curious about the wording of the text on the Horror…
Battlecry: Cast Spell A and Spell B.
Normally battlecries aren’t affected by + spell damage. However, in this case the battlecry seems to cast a spell. I wonder whether damage spells cast by the Horror will benefit from + spell damage.
Theorycraft: Late Game Warlock sketch
I was thinking of something very similar to this. My main concern is that Warlock loses a lot of healing in the rotation, but we’ll see what other cards get announced.
Tavern Brawl - Brawliseum - Miniature Warfare
Seems like 99% of decks are either Rogue or Priest, and everyone is playing some sort of combo deck. Most of the time, you’re not so much competing against your opponent as your opponent as you are against RNG in terms of getting your combo pieces. It’s almost simultaneous competitive single player. “Best” game for me, turn 4 OTK as Malygos Rogue with only 4 cards left in my deck at the end.
Ultimately, this brawl seems like a good illustration of why a combo-heavy meta gets old quickly for a lot of people.

Curious, why evens? I’d think you’d want to put Shirvallah in a deck like this.

Excellent point, though I think if you’re playing either Brann or the totem on curve then you’re not using them as well as you could. I’ve been trying to play the early turns in a more tempo-oriented style and to save Brann for later on.
Even Dragon Warrior
It definitely needs a control mentality. I’ve had some games against more aggressive matchups where I get knocked around until about turn 8 or 9, at which point they run out of gas and I switch into big dragon mode and win. Firetree Witchdoctor is nice for getting missing odd-cost spells.

Tavern Brawl - Brawl Block: Old and New
The Venomizer interaction is nice, but it does kill your other minions. From what I’ve seen of Snowchugger + Missile Launcher, your own minions at least get to attack every other turn.

Wondering if anyone has tried out an Astral Communion Druid in this yet.
Galakrond Rogue with Secret Passage and Stowaway (plenty of draw to get to the pieces), or Quest Warlock with Willow to pull demons out of the way, are the two decks that seem like they could add this right now without much tinkering. Will be interesting to see if the Darkmoon set has any good support cards for these concepts.
