All these people think this card isn’t good. This is Flik Skyshiv with-1/-1. That is still a really good card. Control Warlock always ran Siphon Soul for single target removal. This is a much better Siphon Soul. Also sometimes it will be a 6 mana Twisting Nether that comes with a 3/3.
5/5 card. But will it see play? If Control Warlock becomes a thing again, definitely.

It looks like a strong card. 4 mana deal 5 damage to a minion and (hopefully) do something good is a great card. We haven’t seen any Deathrattles for hunter so far except Zixor and Porcupine. We can make a better guess when more cards get revealed but looks like a pretty solid card.

Pay 3 mana to shuffle a good card into your deck and get a decent card to your hand? Maybe.

I think he meant Masters Call but it is rotating. Nine Lives is about Deathrattles.

Flavour is not off actually. In Warcraft 3, Rexxar had a skill that tossed a hammer which stunned enemies, the ability was called Storm Bolt. Also this has 2 durability, that means you can play this, attack and play a dragon at 4 mana to not to lose durability.

I don’t know whether hunter will actually play this card but there is no doubt that Veranus is a good card. Let’s see how many ping effects hunter has access to. Spring Paw + its friend, Unleash The Hounds, Rapid Fire + Second Rapid Fire, Desert Spear, Explosive Trap, Swarm of Locust. This is a lot of cards and look at that. Highlander Hunter already runs most of these. Also Zephrys will probably give you Arcane Explosion after you play Veranus. So for 10 mana you destroy your opponent board and get a 3/2 and a 7/6. We shall see what to come but Veranus is definitly exciting.
