Will be decent with Boggspine Knuckles for Evolve && Rune Dagger for +2 spell damage that turn. I can’t really say if it’ll be competitive, but it’s a nice card to exist.

Rogue can discover it (which is VERY beneficial on that chance); it also works for Gala-Shaman if you’re running that, kobold stickyfinger, and any situation you get a random/opponent’s weapon.

Exactly, this is an on-board effect (granted, the passive effect only occurs during YOUR turn); this isn’t a battlecry, so @Stonekeep is correct.
