Treasure Guard
Too expensive for the stats, even with taunt/draw/naga. 2 mana 1/4 would have been good.
Twin-fin Fin Twin
Looks like a core card in Murloc Warlock. Playing it vanilla feels kind of bad but not terrible, but when you get even a single buff on this it becomes a nice boardfiller/removal card.
Urchin Spines
Overrated, hunter just wants to push face with their spells. Any hunter deck that isn’t doing that will fall behind quick.
Voidgill
4/5 the more murlocs that are printed the more I’m interested in this deck.
Holy Maki Roll
4/5 Good overall card, and helps with Holy spells for the other pally spells this expansion.
Pufferfist
Love the artwork/name flavor. Decent card too, nothing mind blowing though.
Rock Bottom
This is a make or break card, if it’s good the deck will be good and vise versa.
Swiftscale Trickster
This is really good, some shenanigans going to happen with this one.
Bottomfeeder
This + Azsharan Gardens/Sunken Gardens + Aquatic Form is quite the combo.
I’m definitely going to try some sort of aggro druid with these cards.
Abyssal Wave
Looking at it from a mana perspective it’s pretty good, but in practice I don’t think the curse will ever get played, just sit in hand till it disappears. But if they do have to play it for some reason then this card is a 4 mana 4 damage AoE.
All curses activate twice, and they start as 1 damage so the first curse does 1+1. Second curse will do 2+2, third 3+3, and so on. It will likely look like this:
You put the first curse in their hand, they ignore it because it’s so little damage (2), then they likely ignore the second curse as well (4), but anything after that they will likely only take a single tick because they can play the card from hand for 2 mana to remove the second tick…. So the third curse will likely only do 3 damage, fourth 4 damage, and so on.
