Update on iOS & Android Issues, Battlegrounds Duo Queue, "Bugged" Mogu Fleshshaper, More Big Announcements Coming Mid-March
My guess, they will tie the announcement with the birthday event.
If it’s not, then we’ll have a very short time between announcement, card reveals, and major updates.
unless they push the expansion into later date, which is almost unlikely.
The wait is killing me.
Datamined Legendary Quests from "Spirit of Competition" (Hearthstone's 6th Birthday) Event - 16 Packs in Total + Card Back
or wait to open them in 2 months later? They did said standard year cards. But can you hold that packs for that long? And yes, I still think it’s a Rip-offs.
Not to mention the chance if by some reasons they don’t update the Mage packs to include new expansion cards, then that is totally suck.

Apparently, Blizzard changes it’s Mage Packs to Standard Year cards (it was DoD cards earlier).
So, if you had already bought the packs, too bad. The value has been reduced since half of those cards is rotating out soon.
I really don’t like how Blizzard behave like that. Testing the water with new packs and changing their statements like there’s no impact whatsoever.
It would have been good if those packs can be bought more than once to get at least the pity timer.

even playhearthstone blog says card back. So, we’re only getting 16 packs in total (not including unused quest)

Are you sure it’s not a mistake? I had to re-read it, and re-check it, but all other says it was card “back”, not “pack”
Twitch Drops (2x DoD Pack), Birthday Event, Mage Pack Bundle, Khadgar Back In Shop, Arena Rotation
Still using the old Twitch Stream for Drops. That’s weird.
Big Battlegrounds Patch "Really Just Around the Corner"
Perhaps it is time to actually bring a new game mode this year.
2vs2 mode, Tournament mode, Custom Mode, etc. So much that can be done.
BG start becoming more boring the more I play.
Is Galakrond's Awakening Worth Buying? Analysis of New Cards and Decks Using Them (Ashes of Outland Update)
yep. there it is. Thanks for posting it.
I can’t wait to see it.
Is Galakrond's Awakening Worth Buying? Analysis of New Cards and Decks Using Them (Ashes of Outland Update)
Buying Galakrond’s Awakening however, reduced your gold savings by 2800 gold that is intended for buying packs from upcoming expansions.
I used to be able to buy roughly 70 packs every expansions by saving golds. But with this monetization concept, (where if you don’t buy the adventure you don’t get cards), those 70 packs is greatly reduced.
I prefer the old Tomb of Terror & Dalaran Heist where it is purely optional to buy them.
But, on the other hand, there are rumors about big improvements for F2P players and the cost of the game. Maybe this time, I could save up more golds.
2020 Hall of Fame Rotation - Which Classic Cards Might Rotate out to Wild?
and to mention, Leeroy mostly just a dead card in hand, unless it’s possible to go lethal.
So, the chance of him go to HoF is too high.
2020 Hall of Fame Rotation - Which Classic Cards Might Rotate out to Wild?
Leeroy? Tusk Boar?
If those got rotated, Charge mechanic gonna be extinct from Hearthstone.
Haven’t you noticed, that they never printed a Charge minion anymore? only Rush. Rush is the new charge? c’mon.
Not to sound picky, but I love Charge because it is one of the unique mechanic.
I rather prefer a nerf to Leeroy than HoF him.
Reno Jackson Was Not Planned to Be a Dragon, It Happened Because of the Fan Theory
can’t share anything because you don’t know or?
coz to be honest, the 1st time I read it, it says like, you guys knew, but won’t tell it.
anyway. i’ll assume they gonna tease us at the end of this month with 3 usual mystery banner that symbolize those expansions

(LIVE NOW!) Battlegrounds Demons Nerf Coming Tomorrow (Thursday) - Floating Watcher Moves To Tier 4
uncommon ≠ best.
and I somehow have a dire need to blame the RNG factor in deciding which minions we got.
but, since most of BG rely on RNG, the odds of getting the right minion is mostly differ by luck.
this means, if you’re very lucky, you could get the minion you want on the 1st turn. Or if you’re suck, you don’t get what you want.
And this also means, getting Floating Watcher is purely based on luck, so there’s no need to nerfed something based on luck unless said minions is overpowered. And nerfing it by raising 1 tiers is overnerfed.
If it were up to me, I just nerf it to getting +1/+1 rather than +2/+2
(LIVE NOW!) Battlegrounds Demons Nerf Coming Tomorrow (Thursday) - Floating Watcher Moves To Tier 4
good, demon got nerfed. rising it 1 tier.
after this, mech will be overpowered, and blizzard nerfed it too by rising it 1 tier.
after that, beast will be too meta, and blizzard have no choice but nerfed it too.
since that, every new meta will be nerfed immediately.
what a bull. so inefficient.
Rafaam’s Advocate: In Defense of Galakrond’s Awakening
I guess the only answer I can think of, is Blizzard is no longer the developer that we know of.
It’s predecessor always think of how games should be played, and make those game exactly like that.
I don’t even want to bring it up here (since it’s very sensitive issues), but since Diablo Immortal, Blitzchung controversy, and the latest Reforged disaster, I’ve starting to the true Blizzard intentions. It’s no longer making games for players, but making games for money grabbing.
And, if for some reasons, this reply is offending admins and it’s rules, you can go ahead and delete this one.
Rafaam’s Advocate: In Defense of Galakrond’s Awakening
I agree that I liked getting cards instead of golds/packs for adventure rewards. Since it’s dust value is always higher than getting an average of 60 dusts every packs.
And I would also like to add, Battleground mode is one way closer to what Hearthstone Player wants, a different kind of playing cards. Although, these modes can be further polished to entertain players such as the mode where players can create a custom play with custom rules, sets, formulas etc just like a custom maps on WC3.
Clans and Tournament too.
So many things can be added. And I’m so confused why Team 5 doesn’t use this to increase Hearthstone popularity. Lack of designers? Lack of programmers? Not enough time? It’s not really an excuse for a triple A game developer such as Blizzards.
Battlegrounds Card Database Now Available!
at the very least, here’s what I found.
1. The last 2 cards of Demon Tribe Filter is not sorted ascending like the rest of the cards.
2. Whats the point of adding HP filter above 10, if there are none to filter?
3. I remember something about Golden Soul Juggler update being “deal 3 damage to random enemy TWICE”, and not 6 damage.
4. Maybe it’s a good idea to add info about Golden Shifter Zerus being able to transform to any Golden Battleground Minions. or not. up2u.
Battlegrounds Card Database Now Available!
It’s weird. I can’t seem to find anything about Dragons (maybe even Pirates)
I just recalled some time ago in 2019, that it’ll be added.
so weird. hmm.
More data suggest it’s true.
