20.4.2 Patch Notes - Stealer of Souls Ban in Wild, Captain Flat Tusk Nerf and Kangor's Apprentice Buff in Battlegrounds, Bug Fixes
Per your request, sorry can’t do. I live to criticize. I can’t sit idle watching they did something unjustified, and often they did. But worry not. If when anytime they did something right, I will just go as silence as possible.

Unless I read it wrong, and this
“we’ve decided to ban the card in order to maintain its current, and healthier, function in standard”,
does not mean what I think it means.

I understand the impact on Wild, but to ban it on Standard is just too lazy. The interactions between new cards is quite small compared to wild.
What happen in the future cards is, they will print whatever they think is cool, and then improvise when something bad happen. We’re like beta testers for them.
I don’t know about you. But this is awful.

LOL, lazy as they go. That’s Blizzard for you.
Any devs with decent programming skill could easily change the coding to make it more acceptable.
Like paying health by reducing health directly.
Yes, people could argue that there’s a lot of cards from past expansion that needs to be reworked.
But that’s the job. You want something better, you do the hard work. Not going for the easy solution, where the card become useless.
Besides if I’m assuming correctly, you only need to modify the damage taken from playing health cost cards to directly reduce health. Every cards associated with health cost will be automatically impacted.
(I’m no pro/expert, but I learned basic coding in the past)
Stealer of Souls Banned in Wild Next Week (Wednesday), First Constructed Card Ban in Hearthstone
SuperWild.
And that’s just stupid. Obviously.
Stealer of Souls Banned in Wild Next Week (Wednesday), First Constructed Card Ban in Hearthstone
Nah dude. The real problem wasn’t on SoS itself, but the interaction of zero health cost when combined with immunity. SoS don’t need to be nerfed, just the mechanic of health cost card. Instead of taking damage equal from the cost, they could just reduce the health directly instead. (Immunity still work if the card text itself cause damage to hero)
But what I’m trying to say is, when they start introducing a ‘radical’ change like this, eventually, something else gonna happen.
Either new mode, more banned cards, or maybe there will come some combo with the banned cards where you can’t play.
People can argue whether it’s good or bad, but one thing for sure. Hearthstone is too inconsistent with their decision. It starts when they removed evergreen classic, and HoF.

So, this option was available after all.
Literally can’t call it Wild anymore.
And this has just opened a whole gate of complains to get other cards to get banned as well.
Mana cheating cards, as well as absurd mana gain.
What have they done.
Global Friends List on Battle.Net - You Can Now Chat With Players From Other Regions!
And soon… Hearthstone in global region. wait… Did they just somehow reduced their income willingly?
20.4 Patch Notes - Wailing Caverns Mini-Set, Paladin Nerfs, Battlegrounds Update, Hero Skins & Card Backs Permanently Available For Gold Purchases and More!
Jokes aside, I may have to give up the rest of the expansion because they don’t seem to know how to actually reduce Paladin power. What they nerf this time is actually less or not needed coz.
Oh My Yogg! still frustrating & Conviction still overpowered.

It’s about time someone at Hearthstone realize that First Day of School first nerf is actually a buff.
And guess what. I think they did.
New Arena Rotation After Wailing Caverns Mini-Set Releases
Well, I still have 4 tickets, 1 from the last arena, and 3 from FitB reward track. Time to do some quick reward grab (4 packs for free). Thanks for the reminder.

Since druid got 3 cards, it safe to assume each class gonna get 3 cards too. (3*10class + 5 neutrals).
1 epic cards also likely to be neutral just like Darkmoon Races.
The 2 legendaries left are for Warrior and Neutral again, based from the official site.
Fangbound Druid
Just don’t act surprised when they decide to include Hadronox into Core set next year.
Don’t. Act. Surprised. (It could happen tho)

Beast Druid support?
Big cost minion for Ramp Druid?
Freeze Mage support?
More Hand Disruption?
Leaked Token Paladin?
I have to agree. It has a very slim chance for the rest of the cards to overturned the board.

As long as they don’t overdo it. I’m gonna have a nightmare if for some reason they enable a deck that can make opponent’s just sit there doing nothing.
For example, just imagine Mutanus + Shadowstep and SDD twice.
Probably get crazier in Wild.
I guess we’ll have a better look when all the cards revealed.

Another tech card to disrupt opponent’s hand. What are they thinking?
Fangbound Druid
They really want to push Beast archetype in Druid I think. Seeing how Living Seed has seen no play at all.
I don’t know. Next Expansion maybe. It can’t really push that far with only a ‘miniset’ to support it.
Why Is Shaman so Bad Now and What Should Be Done About It? - Shaman Decks With The Biggest Chance of Success
There’s two moments when Shaman stays on top, and that is when Galakrond shows up, and when the evolve fiesta got very nice backing support (weapon tutor and high cost token minion).
Overpowered maybe, but does the nerf has to hit that harsh? I honestly think not.
The amount of Galakrond synergies were too much to handle, but it’s still not right to nerf all of it. And evolve deck could still have survive if they could cleverly nerf it.
In short, i was thinking that most of it were devs fault. (Supported by the fact that they unnerf all Galakrond synergies back to the original).
One other reason is card draws. All other classes got a bunch of easy card draw, while Shaman (including Paladin) suffer from it. But I’m not gonna touch Paladin class atm.
Maybe not ban the cards and just ban the class instead, at least until they can define the class properly.
I hate priest class, even more when I know it’s difficult to guess what they can play from generating so many cards. And I know for certain that I’m not alone in this.
