Just so you know, it’s not about the “why should I watch”, it’s about “why they didn’t do better”.
Blizzard couldn’t even make something worthy to promote the so called “biggest” promotional tournament. There’s only like 2 people from Blizzard Publisher doing this.
But I guess you wouldn’t care, because you only saw me asking drops in terms of letting people know that this is happening, instead of seeing that this is a bad way to do tournament promotion.
I’ll let you digest that.

(Reminder) Balance Patch Releasing on Tuesday - Nerfs to Razormane Battleguard, Arcanist Dawngrasp and Garrote, Buff to Renew
I have a bad feeling when they patch-in the new expansions, because it will cut the remaining time left to finish miniset achievements into a shorter one. Even shorter than the previous miniset, where it’s 7 days cut-off from the release date.
Anyway, back to the nerf. +2 or +3 spell damage is not the problem, the problem is when Mage can literally empty their deck for infinite damage from Ignite, or the fact that the quest is too easy to complete. The quickest I faced was turn 4, where they drop Arcanist at turn 5.
Garrote nerf probably kills the card. Razormane nerf is good. But what I don’t like is the fact that Wandmaker can start dropping Renew back again. I’m gonna say, the “created by” Priest meta is gonna make people furious once more.

Likewise. It doesn’t have to be from the deck. eg. “Battlecry: Summon a # cost minion for both players, they fight”. But a bunker mechanic seems like a good idea too, since we had Tower mechanic already. Or maybe a tug of war solo adventure. Anyway, can’t wait to see if I can’t make a rant or something later.
Also, it doesn’t hurt to see more gryphons in the Year of Gryphon, but I must admit, I don’t really see any Mammoth or Kraken in their Year. So I must’ve got it wrong about the theme.

Yep, Dec 7th seems right, considering the Battleground Perks ends on 6th.
Probably seeing the teaser/trailer (announcement of announcement) this week, my bet is tuesday (today).
Card reveal and giveaway period should start at the last week of November.
Alterac Valley is the leaked Expansion, but I really don’t know how the theme gonna be. We had bunch of Horde and Alliance cards. Probably a lot of Duel cards (like summoning minion to fights).

Also too downright slow. Who in the right mind wants to trade 2-3 times just to get 7 1/1 imps.
By the time it gets there, the game would be over.
By my guess, they’ll just use the 1 mana to summon 2 1/1 imps by turn 1, enough to put board threats. 2/5 unless Zoolock is a thing again.
Patch 21.6 Hotfix - Buff to Diablo in Battlegrounds, Legendary Quest Chain, Mercenaries Fixes, Getting Stuck in Duels
In times like this, we’re used to having bugs everytime a huge patch comes in. But this time, might be more than the usual, especially in Mercs which luckily I didn’t play anymore.
These things is not okay, even with the effort of fast hotfixes.
Some unique bugs even make me burst out laughing when someone could exploit gaining repeated thousands of Tavern Tickets, and the fix was to deduct the gold directly.
Well, they could play a lifetime Arena for free now. Thats equal to 80000 packs!!

The point is, I know it’s bad enough that Mercs has been delayed over and over again, but if the mode still crawling with bugs, that’s no excuse to release the game whatsoever.
And the aftereffect is even more devastating, when the miniset also infected because they don’t have enough time with one month left before next expansion. All I’m saying is, if the mode not ready, don’t release it. There’s only greed like, “We need all the money, sell them now, we can fix it later”.

Lucky enough, the miniset only gonna be here for about a month,
Minus ~14 days for teaser, trailer, and card reveals for next expansion,
Minus ~7 days for trying to complete the miniset achievements, because last time, the patch arrives first and replaced Barren’s XP bonus with Stormwind’s.
Or is it unlucky that the timespan so short?

I’m trying to steer the topic from Neutral to class card, since it’s obviously a Mage card.
The fact that Mage doesn’t need it for their draw tools is not my concern.
In reality, it’s only a filler card with their below average stats alone.
Edwin, Defias Kingpin
Late game good card? aside from the draws, I don’t think big stats is enough. There’s so many ways to secure the board in late game.
Unless of course you manage to combo Stealth to Edwin after that big stats.
But for me, not really the card I want. Kazakus still better being 4 mana.

That’s a pretty low chance btw, plus there’s a workaround even with Mutanus, and players is not that stupid anymore.
And if they won’t make the disruption happen, then I’ll just enjoy my Quest Warrior meta until they see how ridiculously strong that Legendary Pirate is, and decide to ‘ban’ it in a about week or so. (probably nerfed, but I don’t really care anymore).

And it will always summon Mr.Smite for your opponent, and will never summon it for you when you need it. That’ll happen. Trolden gonna get more videos.

So, after 35 full cards, not very tempting to buy a full purchase, a few good pirate cards, more paladin handbuffs, and that’s it (last one probably DH card draw).
But then, there will be new achievements with miniset, so yeah. We’ll see.

Edwin, Defias Kingpin
At first look, it’s a nice effect, but it won’t actually gonna see play at turn 4, unless this card get discounted, and there’s a bunch of 0 cost card when you draw. I don’t think this one gonna replace the old Edwin.
Mr. Smite
Imagine summoning this from the Juggernaut and actually wins the game.
And they start with the Charge again.. I got this feeling it would be nerfed to 7 cost, or lowering the health to 3. A charge minion with 5 is too strong.

Quick detail, 7 cost 6/6 Shaman Legendary minion. Summon 3/4 elemental that freeze for each frost spell cast.
Why couldn’t they couldn’t organize such simple card reveal and letting this happen. I guess it’s ironic, seeing how little they care about publishing this “Huge” Tournament. That’s Blizzard for you.
