Rally!
In paladin very strong with Goody Two-Shields and some death rattle 2 drop (shot-bot or the the prime murloc, or the 2/3 murloc that fetch a dragon)
Felfire Deadeye
The effect is nice, but I think tour guide is much better and therefore this wont see much play,
Lets compare:
– tour guide is cheaper (this cost double..) and provides 1 free hero power which can delayed to next turn(s).
– This can be great if sticks to the board, so this must be removed where tour guide can be ignored.
overall tour guide provides better tempo (because of the mana differences) and therefore it’s better.
Imprisoned Phoenix
incoming OTK mage decks. put 2 on the board, wait 2 turns and spam missiles and bolts…
might be also good in shaman, but spell damage combos have better support in mage (mainly because of apprentice mana scams.) .
Glacier Racer
5 stars,
– can often be used as an aoe, obviously a great clear with nova
– can be combined with the spell damage cards + frost bolt for huge face damage.
I think this could be priced at 2 mana…
Arbor Up
dont think this is good, there is no token or treant druid deck, cost is way high.
I think it’s a 1 star.
Libram of Judgment
this is broken:
– Libram Paladin is already T 1-2 deck (both broom and pure versions )
– The card by itself seems strong even without the Libram “tag” …
– Only “weakness” I see is the competition with Hammer of the Naaru which is also a great weapon card.
Saddlemaster
Not good:
– random beasts are overall bad, why does hunter needs random beasts?
– It’s not a beast and You need to work hard to get value out of it (playing beasts combine with this requires plenty of mana)
– the cost and stats: 3/4 Stats is OK, no beast tag.
– the effect and reward is very clunky – hard to activate and value potential is low.
1 star…
Imprisoned Celestial
Seems almost unplayable:
– the Tempo loss is very significant
– 3 mana for 4/5 is not a big deal this days.
– The payoff effect seems very clunky: you need minions in play (after you lost the borad on turn 3..) and cheap spell to activate, all of this to gain what? divine shield is not a thing in HS any more.
verdict: 1 star.
Barricade
Reminds a bad version of Saronite Chain Gang (the cost and stats at least)
however:
– you can’t hand buff this.
– requires a condition to activate.
Can be used maybe in “BIG” decks like Duel or Big warrior since its not diluting the BIG pull.
Ill give this 2 stars. i think its bad.
Armor Vendor
I think that Mistress of Mixtures was a better card overall.
this is mostly Good in warrior or in aggressive meta (vs face hunters / demon hunters and burn decks),
don’t think that priest needs it, maybe warlock will use it.
Nitroboost Poison
Very good, deadly Poisson with a nice upside.
might be a 5 stars card.
Moonfang
Interesting effect, very good with health buffs (hunter has many beast buffs) .
the high cost and low stats line makes this far from being OP, so overall: 3 stars.
Dreaming Drake
5 stars.
Cheap and well stated dragon activator, with good upsides (taunt and stat buff),
Perfect for druid.
Trampling Rhino
homage or not – this Rhino is busted!
Super versatile, great tempo and pressure.
If you hold the Trueaim Crescent weapon you can deal so much excess damage with the double attack…especially vs Totems or small tokens.
Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon
I think its good in Wild for some reasons:
– Aluneth is vulnerable to weapon removal (which is very popular in Wild because of the highlander decks)
– The fatigue issue.
– This draws immediately a bunch of cards, if you have spare man you can do something.
– fatigue issues with Aluneth, and Ice-block becomes useless.
– A “second Copy” of Aluneth adds consistency (can play both), you can experiment and lower the curve of the deck by adding cheap burn (Torch, Frost and ice lanes) instead of Fire Balls or the 5 mana Elemental minion.
– Some players don’t have Aluneth 🙂
Cascading Disaster
I think its bad.
– vs. Aggro its not good at all (expensive, too late and not reliable)
– vs Mid-range with Big minions like the pure Paladin or Animal Druid it’s good, but those are Tier 2 decks and not very popular.
– vs Control it’s fine.
– vs Combo it’s bad.
Cagematch Custodian
Very good, 4+ stars.
Its mainly for aggro/tempo deck,
the Problem is that aggro strategy in HS is on decline because of the strong counter and defensive tools (Life-steal, taunts, removal, AOE) and the lack of strong 1 drops and cheap burn spells.
unpopular opinion – this is over hyped.
the limitation that you need a secret in hand to activate the effect – make this very clunky.
so, Its great (but not amazing) if you have the condition
but if the battle-cry not activates its super bad.
So overall : 3 stars.
