What about possible combos with Treachery and Defile? If you set it up correctly you can hurt your opponent pretty badly, if they play control. And against aggro it’s obviously good to stop the early rush. Losing 2-3 cards might not be too bad a payoff, since you can hero power.

Or Wolfrider so that you can play the charge minion, Faceless, Abusive and Power Overwhelming in the same turn without necessarily having to reduce the cost of the combo with Emperor…does deal 4 less damage though
