I really like this! It reminds me of Mordresh but less feel bad. Its a big end game minion that provides threat and a board clear. Annnnddd it itself is a mech so you can get it off of the sunken sweeper! Also for people who want to run the new ” put three colossals on the bottom of your deck” this is a good one for that.

So in reference to Hatch, the new mage legendary, i think a better way to phrase the card text would have been , “after you cast a spell deal 1 damage to a random enemy for each mana spent on that spell.” That was this card can support any mage archytype, and druids will actually care about getting it off cenarion ward. Think like you stick this down and next turn play a drakefire amulet, youve got a mask kf cthun type effect in conjunction with the two new dragons- THAT is what a legendary should do in 2022

So heres my take. This sounds good on paper, a healing deathrattle that can get summoned back several times and you could make a whole board of Mida with the priest hero card. HOWEVER- this doesnt have taunt, so its a risky play on turn six when usually you want to be dropping the hewling elemental or the 3 damage aoe deathrattle. Also, when you are in a safe place to play this card, most priests are allready gonna win with moargs or the amulets or the insane deathrattle armor and healing spike with the hero card. So not sure if this card is ever needed, unless it gets taunt.

Who else looks at this and thinks: oh ho, aggro/tempo mage is back!?! Also in addition to the new 1 mana 2/2 that reduces the cost of the highest spell in your hand by 1. That could turn fireball into 3 mana. Hmm this has potential!!

Y’ever notice how druid allways seems to get really questionable legendary cards. Like things that could have been good but never were. Think like Duskfallen aviana, Gonk, Goru the mightree, forest warden omu, kiri the chosen of elune, Lost in the Park( lol why didnt this get more support catds!!!) , shando wildclaw, Splintergraft, Wardruid loti, Ysiel winspringer. And then now this one…. man druids got some shit legendaries.

No. Weird. Why fel spells. Not enough damage. Too much mana. I think this might be better in a future expansion.

I forgot to clarify- you wouldnt run this in big deathrattle priest because youd rather get the healing and armor deathrattles back from that new ” amulet of undying” card. Not this little 5/5 taunt who draws.

So tbh- this card is trouble. In the big detahrattle decks you dont play this because youd rather have hewlth or armor or aoe deathrattles. And for that new rogue ” discover a deathrattle card from another class” this card sucks because you dont usually run holy spells. Maybe it would be good as a 3 mana 5/5 taunt: draw your shadowstep. Hmmm i dunno – it just feels…off. What do yall think?

Okay can anyone explain to me how the battlecry works? Does it sinple mean replay one fire, frost, and arcane spell that you have allready played?
Yeah thats what im thinking- youd wanna wait to play big spells to draw this minion. And then is it even worth it? It feels like a card you just slot in for extra value, instead of heavily relying on it. But someone mentioned this being good in aggro, and i could kinda see that- as like your decks final hoorah( other than you would never want to actually draw this in an aggro deck, so same issue apply)
