Ultimate Hearthstone 2020 (Year of the Phoenix) Standard Rotation Schedule & Guide - Which Sets Rotate Out, Hall of Fame, How To Maximize Your Dust Gain
It would make sense because we’re losing a lot of cards due to the rotation. So the first new set could very well be an expansion to make up for the loss of cards to Standard.
This is also a quote from the official Blizzard Standard post:
When we release the first new Expansion each year, every set that wasn’t released in the same year or the year prior will cycle out and no longer be part of the Standard format. [Source]
Also, this was mentioned in the Blizzard Q&A at BlizzCon (paraphrased): They are evaluating the best way to release cards, e.g., through expansions or adventures. They are pretty happy with two expansions and an adventure each year. [Source]
What Are Tri-Class (Multi-Class) Cards? (Grimy Goons, Kabal, Jade Lotus) - Mean Streets of Gadgetzan
Yeah, I was confused by this as well.

Fixed, thanks.
Rythmc's Rank 1 (Wild) Legend Control N'Zoth Warrior (November 2016, Season 32)
You’d probably just run Whirlwind instead, and I don’t know much about the Wild meta. N’Zoth decks are probably going to be pretty strong going forward in Wild I would imagine.
Rythmc's Rank 1 (Wild) Legend Control N'Zoth Warrior (November 2016, Season 32)
N’Zoth and Sylvanas probably, especially if he wants to play Standard in the future. Justicar will be rotating out early next year.
Hozen Healer
If Jaraxxus the minion is on the board then yes, but if you are referring to hero Jaraxxus then likely no.
Muzzy's Legend C'Thun Druid (November 2016, Season 32)
Starfall is kind of a dead card in a lot of matchups. Something like Ancient of War serves multiple purposes and acts as a sort of AOE due to the taunt.
Jade Behemoth
It was revealed as a Common, but later corrected to be a Rare.
Rythmc's Rank 1 (Wild) Legend Control N'Zoth Warrior (November 2016, Season 32)
If you aren’t running into a lot of Secret Paladin or Freeze Mage then yes.
Control Warrior Deck List Guide (March 2017, Standard) - Season 36
That’s not a bad idea, but Acolyte gives you room for more draws.
Crumblethief's Legend Reno Dragon Priest (November 2016, Season 32)
I think Ooze would be fine.
Gadgetzan Gazette Final Edition Page 2 - First Bank of Gadgetzan Opens Under New Management!
Nope, you just get the fifty packs for the price which is ten more than usual.
Check my reply to the other comment which explains why.
