Why is acolyte of pain in a fatigue deck?

and to make it even better, play this on turn 6 with shaman, switch with a totem, trade totem into enemy minion and finish the turn with evolve for a 6 drop and a 2 drop

I personally love this card. Good early game stats while also getting your opponent closer to fatigue.

Personally I would rather have seen savage roar nerfed. I never seen FoN as the problem, although there may be some sort of card being released in the old gods expansion that could exploit it. I still think that the root of the problem of the druid combo is savage roar.

You know I was thinking the same thing, but unless mad scientist has a better replacement in freeze mage, there might be room for this. Yeh over costed af, but I think it will see some play. Might not be alot tho.
