I agree there is a huge amount of epic cards that are steaming trash.
I think this one is passable; there’s a case to be made that it finds a home in some kind of libram paladin list. You would just need a card draw engine (which paladin may or may not have access to) to quickly draw into your extra librams.
I definitely wouldn’t consider it in any of the other existing lists.

This is kind of cute with librams, you would need some kind of card draw engine to support it though.
Will see some experimentation, may or may not make the cut.
Trueaim Crescent
Very strong just because you get to dictate when and if the “downside” occurs, meaning in practice the downside is just that sometimes you hold it for a turn or two, which isn’t a big deal.
Star Student Stelina
4 stars, not because it’s good, just because it will make elf combo people BabyRage and that’s funny to me.
Speaker Gidra
I guess it’s good for making late game Overflow safer after you ramp and need to reload.
The issue is that you’ll need this card + Overflow to be 2 of the cards in your 3-4 card hand.
I’m sure there are other applications, but that’s the one that jumped to mind for me.

Ironically, I’m not even sure this gets played with it’s partner cards (which *definitely* get played in some lists).
I guess it probably does , it’s just that 7 mana is so slow, and it’s conditional.
If we see some kind of slow warlock list that isn’t quest warlock (which will sometimes cycle into their shards with plot twists), I think this would definitely be included, but I don’t think it’s an auto-include in quest lock.
School Spirits
If you make a control list, this just goes in.
Mini Hellfire that heals instead of hurts you.
Lorekeeper Polkelt
Wouldn’t that put all the bombs at the bottom of the deck?
They’re 0 mana, yeah?
Lord Barov
Re-enables the old paladin board reset at only 1 extra mana, plus you get a 3/2 body; kind of surprised to see them put that interaction back in the game, considering how aggressively they nerfed Equality.
I guess it isn’t enabled by Pyro either, so that’s a substantial difference.
Do you think Alex is going to be worth it here?
I get it in Quest lock, because that’s a combo deck looking to execute the opponent, but would we want it in a value deck like handlock?
